Brutal

Hey can i ask you something?

*Raynes POV*

After i went up to my room last night i crawled into bed and basically as soon as my head hit the pillow i blacked out and went to sleep. I don't know why i was so tired but I'm guessing its because of how much i cried tonight.

I woke up at around 11:30 and heard One Direction playing downstairs. The song "WHERE DO BROKEN HEARTS GO'' i automatically knew that it was Steve because that's like the only music he likes to listen to.

"STEVE OMG WHY" i yelled at him while i got out of bed and headed to my bathroom.

"SORRY I LOVE THIS SONG" Steve hollared back as he continued to sing along.

When i got into the bathroom i decided i should probably shower so i slid of my black sweatpants and my pink sports bra and hopped into the shower. I washed my hair and then quickly washed my body and hopped out of the shower, wrapped myself in my white towel and walked over to my walk in closet.(Tony made sure when building the Stark tower to make sure everyone had their own walk in closet and their own bathroom which I'm glad he did.) I picked out my outfit and grabbed a pair of shoes to go with it. I picked out a basic white short sleeve crop top and black straight leg jeans for shoes i decided on wearing just my white sip on vans. i went to my vanity and blow dried my hair so i could throw it into a messy bun. after i did i threw on a little mascara and headed downstairs.

As i entered the kitchen i noticed that everyone was actually in the kitchen for a change which made me extremely happy for some reason.

"Goodmorning!" i said as i headed over to the fridge to grab some eggs to cook for breakfast.

"Right back at you" Steve said sitting at the table reading the newspaper.

As i started cooking my eggs i looked around and realized that the only person who wasn't in the kitchen was Bucky.

"Wheres Bucky?" I asked Steve.

"Oh he's still sleeping" Steve said laughing and rolling his eyes.

After my eggs were finished cooking i grabbed a plate out of the cupboard and dished my eggs onto it, i also went to the fridge and grabbed the cold brew and coffee creamer, grabbed two cups one for me and one for Steve, put some ice in it and made our coffee. After i finished making everything i carried everything over to the table and sat down with Steve. Everyone else was sitting at the bar not drinking but just making casual talk. Just as i finished eating and got up to put my dishes in the sink Bucky finally woke up and came downstairs.

"Oh hey Bucky." i said smiling at him.

He only said hey back but he seemed extremely exhausted. which was understandable seeing as we were both up at 1:00 just sitting in the kitchen. After i put my dishes in the sink i headed upstairs to go and clean my room because it was a disaster it looked like a tornado had gone through it. It took me about an hour and a half so by the time i was done it was already 1 so i decided i would be productive for once and go for a run. I threw my hair into a high pony quiclki changed into my training leggings and tight long sleeve shirt, threw on my runners and headed back downstairs for the second time.

"Hey guys I'm gonna go for a run but i probably won't run ill most likely just walk" i chuckled as i told everyone. "Anyone wanna come?"

"We cant today we have a meeting with Nick." Tony said as he walked out of the kitchen.

"Oh Okay " i said as i started to walk to the door.

"Hey Rayne" Steve said as he walked towards me. "I would have loved to come for a run or walk haha but this meeting is extremely important" Steve said feeling bad that he wasn't able to come.

"No Steve i totally understand i mean you are an Avenger you cant do everything with me all the time." i said as i quickly tied my shoes and stood up.

"Ok well I'm still really sorry" He said as he pulled me into a hug.

"Its fine Steve but we should both get going." After i finished saying this Steve pulled me into a hug. Everytime i would go somewhere or he would leave somewhere we would hug because we were both scared that if something might happen to one of us while we were gone that we would never be able to hug each other again. But if i was never the one to break the hug first we would literally be standing there for hours because Steve hated breaking out of hugs first because he thought it felt rude to do so.

Steve left the room and as soon as i was about to walk out the door i heard a deeper voice than steves behind me.

"Still want someone to walk with?" the deep voice said

i turned around and realized that it was Bucky. "Oh ya for sure i mean talking to someone is better then not" i said as we both walked out of the door.

We went for about a 2 hour walk and just talked about the most random things. we talked about what our favorite foods were which made us extremely hungry and just talked about what our favorite everything was. On our way back to the tower we saw a cute little cafe and decided to get something to eat and drink.

"Hello welcome to Club Coffee may i take your order?" an old lady said as we walked up tot eh counter.

" Um ya can i get a black coffee and a blueberry muffin," Bucky said responding to the lady.

"yes of course and for the lady?" she said now looking at me.

"I'll just get a Matcha green tea and a chocolate chip muffin please" I told the lady smiling.

"Of course it will take about 2 minutes to get your drinks"

As we waited for our drinks i saw i got a message from Steve saying "Hey! hows your walk going?" i replied to him just saying that bucky came with me and we were at Club Coffee, after i sent the message i shut my phone off and we grabbed our drinks. we decided that we were going to sit outside because it was a beautiful day.

As we sat at the table outside the coffee shop we talked about if we've ever been in any past relationships and i told bucky that i never have been because I've lived with the Avengers for like forever and they were always very protective over me when it came to pretty much everything and anything. He said that he had been in one relationship but ended it because the girl was extremely toxic and wouldn't let him do anything on his own. we had finished our stuff and started to walk ack home. we were almost home when Bucky stopped me on the sidewalk.

"Hey Rayne can i ask you something?" He said looking really nervous.

"Of course is everything okay?" I asked him

"Yes everything is perfectly fine." he said looking up at me. "I know we've just met like a couple days ago but we've gotten to know each other a bit more and i was wondering if you maybe, wanted to go out for coffee or dinner sometime?" He said looking me in my eyes.

"Yes of course i would love to but why don't we go for dinner since we went for coffee today" i told bucky as we finished walking home.

HEYYYYYY!!!!! so I'm stopping the chapter here because the next one will be the rest of their day and then their dinner together!

It will most likely be out tonight tho because I'm really in the mood to write today
