  (Brian P.O.V.)

Tonight was the night I take Mia out. I pick Mia up and take her to Cha Cha Cha. We had finished eating and were talking. Time to get some secrets.

"So, how is it, anyway, that the gang came to be?" I ask.
"What?" Mia responds.
"The gang," I say.
"The gang? No, they don't call themselves a gang." Mia says.
"What do they call themselves?" I ask.
"They're a team. They call themselves a team." Mia answers.
"All right. How did the team come to be?" I ask.
"Well, that's a whole lot of history," Mia says.
"I've got time," I say.

"Okay. Vince grew up with my brother. Actually, he didn't ever grow up, as you can tell. But they were friends as kids. Plus, we all always figured that August and him would get married, because she was always either following him or Dom around. I mean they have this on again off again thing but it's nothing serious and I don't think it ever will be," Mia explains and I can't help but get jealous when she talks about Vince and August. "And Letty, she just lived down the street. August and her were always together. Always into cars, though. Ever since she was, like, 10 years old. August had invited her over when our dad was working the cars. So, naturally, you know with her always around August and August always being around Dom, my brother always had her attention. And then she turned 16..."
"And then she had Dom's attention," I say interrupting her.
"Yeah. It's funny how that works, isn't it?" Mia asks.
"Yeah. How do Jesse and Leon fit into the whole thing?" I ask.
"Jesse and Leon. Well, Jesse and Leon just sort of showed up one night and never, ever left. It's just the way my brother is, you know. Dom's like....He's like gravity. Everything just gets pulled to him. Even you." Mia says.
"No." I lie.
"No," Mia says.

"The only thing that pulled me in was you. Being friends with your brother is just a bonus." I lie. My job and August is the reason I got sucked in.
"That's good. It's nice to come first every once in a while, cause if it isn't Dom it's August. Want to go for a drive?" Mia says. We leave the restaurant and Mia drives. She is pretty good.

(August P.O.V.)

While Mia was on the date with Brian, keeping him distracted we hijacked another truck. It was a successful mission. We arrive back home after making the delivery. Since we were successful Vince is staying with me in my room tonight. We get to my room and start making out, then my phone starts ringing.

"Yeah?" I answer the phone.
"The hijackers have hit again. Serge has decided that we'll move on Johnny Tran and his guys at 17:00. Unless you say otherwise. If you agree, just say yes." Bilkins says.
"Yes," I answer. I end the call and turn back to Vince.

"Who was that?" He asks before kissing my neck.

"I don't know. Wrong number I guess." I answer him before kissing him. We kiss a while longer before he wraps his arms around me and goes to sleep. I think about the call. I won't be with them when they bring down Tran, because of Brian being there and the risk of Tran seeing me. I then go to sleep.

(Brian P.O.V.)

Mia and I are in the middle of a make-out session when my phone rings. I pull away to answer the phone.

"Yeah?" I say answering the phone.
"The hijackers have hit again. Bilkins has decided that we're gonna move on Johnny Tran and his guys at 17:00. Unless you say otherwise. If you agree, just say yes." Serge says.
"Yeah," I say and hang up.
"Who was that?" Mia asks.
"It's just a wrong number," I answer. I take Mia home so, I can prepare for the mission tomorrow.

We busted Johnny Tran. Now we are waiting to see if he is going to be convicted.
"Yes, sir. Yeah, I know but....Yeah. Yes, sir. Yeah. I got it." Bilkins says before he gets off the phone. "The DVD players were purchased legally. All we've got are a couple of low rent weapons charges....and some outstanding speeding tickets." Bilkins says.
"So, they're out," I say.
"Yeah," Serge says.
