I was woken up by Donny's news.

"Do you know when?" I asked.
"That I didn't ask. Gab is not the patay malisya type. I knew she'll notice. Makikita mo naman 'yan sa socmed. She posts a lot lately di ba, sabi mo?"
"Yeah, bro. A lot talaga."
He laughed at me.
"Stop laughing bro. It's not funny." I said.
"But you're funny."
"Oh sige na Elmo. Tapos na mission ko. Bye."
That guy. He's rude sometimes.
I composed him a message to thank him.
Well, lately someone's making me really want her. Because of this pandemic I was always alone and didn't thought I'd think about her every damn time.
She's pretty.

I recognized this feelings before. Towards her. But we didn't act on it. Kase, bata pa kame? Tsaka kase, the timing was never in our favor.
Loving her from afar was easy. Just as I thought.
But thinking how she and I ended before, it wasn't easy at all.
I made her look like a fool. Bigla ko na lang siya hindi pinansin. I was a kid. I didn't know what I was doing.
"Gago ka kase, Elmo." I uttered while shaking my head, grabbing a bottled water from my fridge.
This is the reality and I can't just expect her family to like me the way that they liked me after what I did to her. I can't just ask for their address and walk my way back to their arms. It's not as easy as that.
Days kept on passing. I have nothing to do. Kaya lagi ko lang siyang naiisip. Ganon pala 'yon no? When you can't have someone that easily, parang the feelings kept on growing.

Donny's calling. "Hello?" I answered.
"May 17th daw, bro."
Wala man lang hi-hello. Ano daw?
"What?"
"Start ng lock in. Sabi ni Gab."
"Are you sure? Birthday niya 'yon ah."
"I don't know bro. Sige na, I'm busy. Bye."
What the fuck, Donny? Bakit ba ang rude ng friends ko?
But the hell, thanks to him.
"She changed." I said realizing that she's gonna celebrate her birthday away from the San Joses.
Natapos na lang 'yung birthday niya nganga pa rin. It's like I know what to do but I don't know kung pwede pa ba. This is hard.
May 18th I asked Donny for Gab's favorite to munch. Nagtataka siya bakit daw favorite ni Gab. Well, I find them very close and we might get signals from her kung okay lang kayang lumapit.
I sent Gab donuts, ramens, milkteas and more thru Donny. He didn't know what to send them kaya kahit ano na lang maisip namin. I am so thankful to my brother kahit lagi siyang nagmamadali.
Days passed nagtatanong na daw si Gab kung bakit parang ang daming pinapadalang foods sakanila. I don't know if pagod ba si Donny that day na nasabi niya na those are from me.
