016. Another Team-up

M I N A ' S

"Are we cursed to encounter each other?" Jeongyeon unnie muttered with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"You call that a curse? For me, it's fate." Junhui retorted with a grin. The eight of us made a small circle even though these things are all against our will. We are assigned as a group to participate in the trail and it will begin after ten minutes.

I stood in between Jun and Sana while watching the others' arguing. No one will expect a peaceful teamwork between the eight of us. But in order to finish this task, we need to get along.

"The trail will start any minute soon, aren't we going to establish a plan?" Wonwoo mumbled, it's clear that he's quite annoyed from all the nonsense bickering.

"Apparently, there are three stations in order to complete the trail. The first one will be archery, we need to hit three water balloons. We'll just pick the representative once we get there." Seungcheol started elaborating the mechanics of the game. We hinted a sign of agreement before the staffs announced to start the trail. They said that the games are not about competition, but rather teamwork.

I hope we will be having teamwork, it is never impossible, right?

We started getting into the game, the staff gave us a piece of map to follow. The trails were separated nevertheless. I was the one holding the map while Seungcheol, our assigned leader on my side.

The resort seemed to be a tropical island, coconut trees and green plants covering the surrounding. With some bamboo grass all around. We need to pass a big tree before we can reach the first station. It's said that there will be a blue flag that indicates we already reach the destination.

"Can we just run away from here? They won't know, right?" Jeongyeon unnie muttered. We took a halt, ignoring her statement as we found the big tree before us. "You guys aren't tired of this?"

"I guess this is it." Jun said before heading to an area where there are hanged water balloons with bow and arrow on a side. Walking to the leafy pathways, confusion filled our faces when we saw no one. I thought there would be someone to guide us in the first station.

"They won't mind if we take a nap here, right?"

"Yah! Yoo Jeongyeon, you just took a long nap earlier."

"Then? Who cares? I didn't ask you to care."

"Will the two of you shut up?" Wonwoo silenced the two with his scowling expression. We looked around the area, noticing how silent and deserted the place was.

"Let's just finish this game and went to the next station. Mina analyze the map. This place looks creepy." Nayeon unnie requested. I slightly nod then roam my eyes around the place, letting the others finish the game by themselves.

The map said that after station one, there will be a small spring next to this. We just need to follow the pathway.

"Make sure that we won't get lost."
