Chapter 39: Ace

Kei/Ace POV

We're here at the mini living room of our dorm. Nakaupo ako sa isang single sofa habang nakaupo si Ash sa lap ko. Nasa isang sofa naman nakaupo si Iceon, nakatingin lang ako sa kaniya ng seriyoso.

Nakayuko lang siya at tahimik, hindi ko alam kung gusto niya lang ba akong inisin sa pagsasayang ng oras ko o ano.

"So...? What do you want?" Ako na ang nag-first move dahil naiinip na ako. May idea na ako kung ano ang sasabihin niya but I decided to pretend.

"Uh...hmm..." Parang nagda-dalawang isip pa siya kung sasabihin niya ba sa akin o hindi. I looked at him emotionlessly with heavy aura to pressure him.

"If you have nothing to say, you can get lost." I said coldly, he raised his head and looked at me.

"Ace," he called my name, I looked at him and waited his next words. But minutes had passed but he stay stilled while staring at me. There's an uneasiness and hesitation on his eyes, he also but his lip.

My patience is wearing thin.

"You're spending our time for too long! What do you want to say, tell us already! You're wasting my precious time!" I irritatedly said.

There's a saying, "Time is gold." then here he was, wasting my time. Tsk.

After many sighed he let out, he finally speak.

"Ace, I- I just want to a- apologize." He stammered and lowered his head. I stared at him seriously, reading every emotion on his face.

"S- sorry sa lahat ng g-ginawa ko sayo. Sorry dahil k-kinampihan at p-pinaniwalaan ko sila k-kaysa sayo. S- sorry sa lahat ng g-ginawa kong k-kasamaan sayo. S- sorry sa lahat, A- Ace." He said and teary-eyed.

"Ash, go to your room." I said to him. I saw reluctance on his eyes but he did what I said. I looked at Iceon again and listen quietly.

"Alam kong h-hindi ikaw si A-Ace. B-but, I'm still h-hoping that y-you can f-forgive me, f- forgive your brother." He said while having a hard time speaking at the same time stopping his tears.

I just looked at him coldly. Well, I know I am so ruthless when I was on mortal world and being a mafia lord. Pero, hindi ako nananakit ng inosente. Ibang-iba ako sa kanila, mga halang ang bituka ng mga pinapatay ko, samatalang sila nagawa nilang saktan si Ace.

"D- Do you have the a-ability to c-contact Ace's s-soul? Are you a-able to t-talk to him? I badly want to apologize..." Umiiyak na nagmamaka-awa na sabi niya.

'Am I cold-blooded when I say that I don't really feel any sympathy nor pity? Aish, maybe because I'm a mere outsider.'

Habang nakatingin ako kay Iceon, biglang nandilin ang paningin ko tapos may biglaang liwanag ang sumulpot sa harap ko. When I opened my eyes, there's someone standing in front of me, he's wearing a white cloth with golden belt and golden crown.

'Nice costume, dude. Sino kaya siya sa mga greek gods?' Gano'n kasi ang suot niya, parang yung sa mga greek gods.

"What the f*ck?" Tanging nasabi ko nalang. Wait, why my voice feel strange? The guy smiled at me, wait, he's familiar.

"Hi, ate Kei. Will you let me to pasok in that katawan? I mean, I will borrow my former katawan para maka-talk ko ang aking kuya." Nakangiti na sabi niya sa akin.
