First period. Physics. I didn't mind the subject. Still, boredom had overcome me. I sat in the back, right beside a window. I chose this seat as I liked watching what was going on outside when I was bored.

Right now, I was watching the rain. It started raining right as we had arrived at school.

Talk about timing.

Neo was sitting right in front of me trying to balance a pen on his lips. Silly.

"Mr. Wolsen, I think everyone would appriciate if you'd stop harassing that pen of yours and actually pay attention to class." The teacher was standing right in front of him holding out a hand.

Neo handed her the pen and quickly went through his hair.

"Sorry, Miss. By the way, you look lovely today. Is that a new dress?" Neo raised one eyebrow while holding eye contact with the teacher.

Ms. Ryling broke the eye contact, flustered, as she started walking back to her desk.

"Please turn to page-" She was interrupted by the sound of the door being opened abruptly.

A boy walked in.

Tall, dark hair, dark eyes -literally.

I had never seen him before. He was either new or lost.

Even though he was also only dressed in dark clothing, he didn't have this kind of invisibility to him as I did. In fact, every move, every step he took, held pure confidence.

He was the kind of guy that caught everyone's attention. And probably knew it, too.

Don't get me wrong, he was handsome. Really handsome. But this guy had trouble written all over him. I didn't associate with people like him. It was best to stay out of their business to not get hurt.

I could already hear all the girls in the classroom whispering. Probably wandering who this new guy was and how good of a kisser he'd be.

What this perfectly build body could do to them.

"You must be Rhett Williams." Ms. Ryling stopped in her tracks.

The boy only nodded. Not much of a talker, I figured.

"Well, guys. We have a new student joining our class today." Ms. Ryling continued excitingly.
"Would you like to indroduce yourself, young man?"

The boy looked around awkwardly, as if looking for something. Ms. Ryling's question had obviously caught him off guard.

"I'm Rhett." He said confidently.

His voice was deep. Some might call it attractive.

Alright, I admit. I was some.

"That's it?" Ms. Ryling raised an eybrow.

"That's all you need to know."

Wow. First day and already pissing of the teacher. You're off to a great start, Rhett.

Ms. Ryling might seem sweet and innocent, but boy this woman could hold a grudge.

"Alright, Mr. Williams, please take a seat. There is an empty one next to Ms. Banks." She pointed at me.

Just about everyone had turned their heads in my direction. As well as the new guy.

See, those were the moments I was talking about. I hated this attention. These moments made me want to curl up and die immediately.
