Today was her first day of college, and the girl was feeling anxious. She was scared to make friends, fearful of their thoughts on her. Ridding herself of any negative thoughts, she tries to set a positive mindset.
She walks out of the room in a red maxi skirt, Doc's and a black long sleeve crop top with a low neck. Greeting a grumpy Nico, she sets some breakfast for both of them. Once they are ready, the pair head to their college. While walking through the bustling traffic sidewalk, she takes note of a sign over a second-hand bookstore.
As she and Nico near the entrance., he notices her trembling hands and offers her a comforting hug, whispering encouraging words to her. He waits until her confidence slowly builds up, and they walk through the gates. She immediately latches onto Nico's arm, squeezing the life out of it.
He wraps his arm around her shoulders as she leans into him, seeking for some sort of comfort. Luckily, they both had their first lecture together, "Writing as Exploration," as they were both majoring in writing. Writing offered comfort to her, as her whole life, the only source of adventure and entertainment were books.

She walks out of the auditorium of her last lecture alone, feeling worn out. Sadly, Nico and the girl did not share any other lectures, so they had to part ways after their first class. Sending a fleeting smile to a man who had been watching her, she walks to the gardens, beginning her wait for Nico. A sharp pain in her left hand reminds her of how fast she had to write notes.
After waiting a while for Nico, she decides to sit on the grass by a big tree offering lots of shade, her weak legs getting the best of her.
