James’ P.O.V
Taylor, Beau, Daniel and I all walked to the front door meeting Charlotte there. Gina who welcomed us all inside greeted us. I was so excited to see Naomi I really needed to see her. As soon as Gina mentioned that Naomi and Danielle were in the lounge, of course Charlotte ran straight there. I let her have a moment with them before I went to say hello so I helped Gina set the table ready for dinner. Luke and Jai were still in the car. I knew what Luke was up too. We all were, besides Charlotte. I hope Jai and Charlotte do honestly get together. It’s so obvious that Jai likes her. It’s about time she realises it.
After helping Gina set the table I went into the lounge to see Naomi. Luke was already standing by the doorway. I wonder how the chat went with Jai. Charlotte was hugging Naomi and Danielle and that’s when Luke had to make a smartass comment, as usual. “Excuse me Charlotte, but I would like my girlfriend to stay alive, instead of you suffocating her.” He said. I smirked at his remark. “Shut up Luke!” Charlotte said as she grabbed the closest pillow next to her and threw it at him. Danielle then ran up to Luke and kissed him passionately. “JAMES!” Naomi screamed and before I knew it, Naomi was in my arms cuddling me tightly. “Hey beautiful” I said to her as I hugged her back and lightly kissed her forehead.
Naomi and I had also started dating also because of Charlotte; she did introduce all of us since they were her best friends before they became ours (and eventually girlfriends). We met about a year ago and things just instantly happened. We had been dating for around ten months and things were going really well. She supported all of us boys, which meant a lot to me.
Charlotte’s P.O.V
“DINNER IS READY GUYS!” Gina yelled from the kitchen as I heard her grab some plates to dish out the lasagna. “Coming Gina!” I yelled out as I sat up from the couch and began walking to the kitchen with Danielle, Luke, James, Naomi, Taylor and Daniel. I wondered where Jai was. I decided to ask Luke. “Hey Luke, do you know where Jai is?” He looked at me and smiled. “I think he’s in the bathroom, he should be out soon though.” I smiled back. “Is he alright though? He’s been in there for quite a while…” I asked curiously. “Yeah he’s fine. Don’t worry.” “Okay, if you say so.” I said as I grabbed a seat and waited for the lasagna to be served.
By now everyone was seated, eating away at their lasagna. Jai finally came out of the bathroom around ten minutes ago. He was very quite though while eating his dinner, which was unlike him. Normally he would be chatting away about the randomest stuff but tonight he had hardly ever said a word since he came out. I thought this was strange. I decided to just give him some space and talk to him about it later. “The lasagna is delicious Gina!” I said to her since I couldn’t stop eating it. “Haha, I know it’s your favourite.” She said with a smile. “Sure is.”
Luke’s P.O.V
Everyone had finished eating and there was definitely some tension in the air. “Why don’t we do a twitcam tonight?” I suggested. Hopefully it will lighten up this mood Jai’s in because it’s making things get really awkward. “Good idea!” Charlotte said. “Everyone in?” I said as I looked around to James, Naomi, Danielle, Jai, Daniel and Taylor waiting for their approval. Everyone nodded besides Jai. “Come on Jai! It’ll be fun!” Charlotte said practically begging him. “Fine.” Jai said as he finally gave in. “Awesome, I’ll go get the laptop set up! Jai can you tweet everyone and let them know we’ll be doing a twitcam in ten minutes?” “Yeah whatever.” He said as he reluctantly pulled out his phone and began writing a tweet. “I’ll come and help you set up Luke!” Danielle said as she followed me into the lounge.
Charlotte’s P.O.V
Okay, something was definitely wrong with Jai. Since when is he ever not interested in doing twitcams? I had to find out about why he was upset. “Jai, can I talk to you for a sec?” I said, not waiting for an answer as I grabbed his hand and lead him into his bedroom. I closed the door and sat next to him on his bed. “Jai, what’s wrong? Why are you being so quiet?” I said to him as I looked into his gorgeous, deep, brown eyes. Gorgeous? What am I thinking? Charlotte… Jai is your best friend, you can’t think like that! I quickly brushed those thoughts aside and waited for Jai’s response.
“Nothings wrong Charlotte, I’m fine.” He said as he looked away from me and stared into the distance. “Jai, I know that’s a lie. I’ve known you my whole life and I can tell when you’re lying. Just tell me. You know you can tell me anything.” I said trying to convince and reassure him. “No I can’t Charlotte. Not this. This is different.” “Yes, you can. I’m here for you no matter what.” “Just drop it, okay Charlotte? Luke will be waiting for us to start the twitcam. We better go.”
Just as Jai said that he got up and left the room. I couldn’t help but let a tear roll down my face. Why wouldn’t he tell me what was wrong? Didn’t he trust me anymore? Did I do something wrong? After I sat there for a good few minutes overthinking and letting my emotions out I decided to join the boys in the lounge before they started getting suspicious of my whereabouts. I just hoped this twitcam would make things better. I hope he would forget about whatever was bothering him and he would be his normal self again. The normal kind, amazing, prefect guy that I know he is. The one that I love.
