Jimin slumps on his bed, blowing out hot air as he bounces his leg. He'd just got done with some business in the training room. Thanks to the upcoming intensity of events beginning to arise within the R.I and it's enemy, W.R.A.I.T.H, and after what happened in the mission only nights before, he knows anxiously that he has to prepare.
He's been avoiding Taehyung as much as possible — even Namjoon, who he usually enjoys spending time around. The days living at the warehouse and being in the R.I can be dreadful, depressing even, so he became fond of his company quickly over the years.
And now? Now he isn't having it. First mission they go on after months of nothing and Jimin's life is already put in danger. He wonders if it's his fault for even complying to go on the mission in the first place and carry it through, seeing as he was already anxious about it, but he blames it all on Taehyung, his boss and leader.
It's normal for the R.I to be risky on missions, but it set Jimin off to find out Taehyung and Namjoon had been conspiring behind his and the rest of the R.I's back. And it even involved the meaningless capture of a girl and boy he doesn't even know, just because they needed the additions.
Jimin runs a hand through his red hair exasperatedly. Why couldn't Taehyung of just given somebody who's already a member another job? Jimin could been the spy, if he truly needs it, and even the assassin too. Then again, he did admit himself on the day of the mission that the R.I had been needing some new members — while Jimin was fine with the people they had, he knew they weren't as strong with just the six of them.
'Damn him. Taehyung . .'
It makes matters worse seeing as you saw it fit to snoop around his room while he was out. The redhead was training alone, neglecting to close his bedroom door when he rushed to get some extra hours in. He never knew he'd end up regretting it.
Why are you so desperate for an upper hand? Jimin taps his foot in slow, rhythmic sequences, pondering. Sure, it seems obvious. Anybody coming into an unfamiliar, even occasionally hostile environment forcefully would want to know who they're dealing with, but then again, he knows hardly anything about you.
He stops in all movements, thinking something over slowly. All thoughts rummaging in his mind annoyingly halt, colliding together for one, continuous idea.
He's never done anything like it before out of pure respect for Taehyung — after all, he has a huge debt to the young man. But in this case, maybe he can make an exception . . To him, you're a threat.
Hopping off the bed, he remembers how many of the R.I members — including the newcomers, you and Yoongi — are all flooding the training room by recommendation of Taehyung himself for practice on the many upcoming missions you'll be participating in. Even Taehyung has been curiously lingering around the training room, watching his new recruits' techniques.
Scoffing at this knowledge, Jimin plows his way out of his room, aware of Taehyung's likely absence and expertly navigates the hallways. Florescent lights flicker frustratingly overhead, somehow making him even more angry at the arrogant dark-haired man.
