5- Let's Dance

I stretch my arms and get out of bed. I walk into my bathroom and start the shower. I go back into my room and grab my phone to look at the time. Oh shit, I see what time it is and instantly start panicking.

It was two p.m, before I went to bed last night I was told the gathering started at five. I only have three hours for hair and makeup.

I quickly run across the hall and knock on Mr. Oslo's door. To my surprise, it opened with him standing there rubbing his eyes. "How come you didn't wake me?" I ask in a panic.

"I just woke up myself Ms. Lilith. Oh dear, I need to go change it is in fact time for me to help the others prepare for the party." He says after looking at his watch. "I need my dress too, may you help me put it on after my shower?" He nods yes and I rush back off into the bathroom after grabbing my undergarments.

I quickly shower and wash my hair with my favorite shampoo and conditioner. After washing my body off and rinsing my hair out I quickly get out and wrap a towel around me.

I put on a cute black lace pushup bra with matching colored panties. I head out of my bathroom and press a button on my nightstand and wait for Mr. Oslo to come in.

A couple of minutes of waiting go by and Mr. Oslo finally arrives with my dress in his hand. "I'm sorry to keep you waiting we just finally put up the last bit of decorations," I tell him it's okay and we walk over to my full-length mirror.

He unzips the dress and motions for me to step into it. I begin to step into it and pull my arms through so he can zip the back up for me. I told him thank you and I grab my black heels.

"Oh don't forget my makeup!" I say rushing over to my vanity. "Oh, why yes of course Miss Lilith we can't forget that now can we." I grab one of my eyeshadow pallets and use a nice shimmery green out of it.

I add a lighter green in the middle, I also make sure to put a little bit of highlighter in my corners. I apply falsies along with a nude-colored lipstick on.

"Are you ready to go Ms. Lilith?" I nod and he walks me to the staircase. My favorite song by Dean Martin starts playing as we walk down the stairs.

As we meet at the bottom of the staircase a familiar face emerges. I see Bruce Wayne smiling as I take my arm away from Adam's.

"Lilith Grey in the flesh. I didn't know such a beautiful woman was my opponent in the world of finance." Bruce grabs my hand and gently places a kiss on it. I could feel my heart flutter at the softness of his lips.

"Don't think of me as the enemy, think of me as a bystander," I say smiling back at him. "Shall we dance Lilith?" He holds his hand out so I take it and we proceed to walk into the ballroom. I put one hand on his shoulder and he grabs the other.

We dance like this for an hour, we didn't care what the journalists thought. We just wanted to dance holding each other. He finally speaks up and asks, "Would you care for a drink, Lilith?" I smile at his question, the million-dollar playboy himself wants to have a drink with me.

I say yes and begin to lead him to the bar. We both take a seat and stare into the eyes of each other before a bartender asks us what we would like. "I'll take champagne, the nicest one my parents have set to offer," Bruce orders the same and from there it all went down.

We down shot after shot as we talk about how each of our businesses is doing. "Well you know it's my parent's business I would take over but I'm not sure I want to anymore," I say downing a shot of rum. "If you don't then who will I have as my bystander as you referred to it?" I knew Bruce was drunk and when I say drunk I truly meant more shit-faced than I was.

"Maybe you're right Brucey, I just might take over if they step down," I order another shot and decided to call it quits after this one since mainly everyone left the party. "Bruce, how are you getting home tonight?" I ask not wanting him to drive home.

He told me he was gonna drive himself but I told him it was better to spend the night. I help him off the barstool and lead him upstairs. "Oh, are we going to your room Ms. Grey cause if so at least have another date with me first." I chuckle and tell him he doesn't mean it.

"I'm just letting you sleep in my room tonight, I don't want you to drive in this condition." I open my bedroom door and sit him down on my bed. I loosen his tie for him and practically force him to lay down.

I turn to leave the room and as I go to open the door he says something I was hoping he wouldn't. "Come lay with me Lilith just for tonight." I instantly melt at his words and walk over to the other side of my bed. I unzip my dress so it isn't as tight and lay down next to him.

He pulls me close to him and sighs. "I think I might have feelings for you little miss Lilith." I smile at his words and close my eyes.
