SERENITY

SEONGHWA'S POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone vibrating in my pants pocket. I looked around and noticed Serenity was still asleep. Great, I can see what this phone call is about and she won't be worried about it...

I got up from the bed and stretched. I pulled my phone out and my phone was at 100% brightness, almost blinding me in all this darkness. I turned the brightness down and checked the notifications. 50 missed calls from different people, 89 messages from my brother, 7 voice mails from my parents, and a bunch of other notifications of teachers grading assignments and junk mail. I cleared my notifications, read every message, cleared my call history, listened to the voice mails, cleared away the junk mail, and went back to laying down by Serenity.

Not even 10 minutes later, as soon as I was falling asleep, I feel my phone vibrating beside me, I rolled over and answered "Hello?"

???: Woah, your voice is so deep.

Me: Because I was sleeping. I slept, woke up to a ton of notifications, and was about to go back to sleep until you called me.

???: Oh, I'm sorry. Now where are you?

Me: None of your business, the fuck?

???: You don't want me to tell your parents, right?

Me: I really don't give a fuck cause you don't know where I'm at.

???: I'll find out somehow so just tell me and we won't have to do this the hard way.

Me: Go ahead. Find my location.

I can feel the rolling of their eyes over the phone and the loud but silent scoff.

???: You're at 405 Pumpkin Street right beside Atlantic Avenue.

That's the wrong address.

Me: ...Sure, we'll go with that.

???: I'm coming to pick you up so be ready.

Me: Uh huh. I'll be ready then.

I hung up the phone and laid back down beside Serenity. She is so cute while she's sleeping... I caressed her cheek and kissed her forehead. I whispered "I love you" and closed my eyes falling asleep quicker than the attempted try earlier.

It was 7 AM when I had woken up, and lucky for us, it was the weekend.

SERENITY'S POV

I had woken up to the sun hitting my face. I rubbed my eyes and saw Seonghwa laying down beside me, his arms wrapped around me not wanting to let go. I smiled and looked down at his sleeping figure. "Aawww...so cute..." I giggled and slowly freed myself from his grasp. Just when I was about to leave, I felt a voice calling out for me, which belonged to Seonghwa. I looked at him and smiled "Good morning, sleepy head." "Shush, you're the sleepyhead. Not me..." I sat down on the bed looking down at him. "Oh really? Last time I checked, I wasn't laying down in the bed." "But you are sitting in it, cutie..." He got up brushing the hair out of his face and looked at me. Slowly he leaned in and pecked my lips. I giggled and pushed him back down on the bed "Go back to sleep, Toothless..." "Noooo, I wanna hold youuuu..."

I pouted and he pouted as well. "I'll be back, I just have to use the bathroom." "Okay fiiiineeee..." I smiled and left my room. I giggled "Aah, he's so cute, I don't deserve him..." I noticed that the house was very quiet. I looked at the cable box by the tv and noticed it was 10 AM. 10 AM?! We were asleep for that long? My parents probably went out with the kids to get some grocery shopping done. Nala, our alaskan malamute, came into the kitchen and nudged her bowl. I checked Sky's bowl as well and turns out the both of them were empty. "Guess you two were very hungry this morning. Don't you guys usually eat at 9 AM?" I giggled. "How is this already empty?"

I looked at the fridge and saw a note hand written by my mom. "She's always doing things like this." I giggle to myself and read the note.

Hi Serenity! I hope you enjoyed your sleep :) We have went grocery shopping as you have probably guessed. We will be gone for awhile since the kids also want to take a visit to the mall, we will come back with some presents for you as well, don't worry.

P.S. I know you and Seonghwa are dating. No need to hide it anymore. 💜

I audibly gasped and said "Well, it's pretty obvious..."

SEONGHWA'S POV

"Stop calling me!"

???: You need to come home right now. The address I went to, yeah, didn't even exist. What the fuck, dude?

Me: I'm not going home. I'll return home when I want to go home. And I specifically said "Yeah sure, let's go with that" like are you stupid? Duh I'm not there. You're never gonna find where I'm at.

???: Your parents are going to be mad if you're not home in time.

Me: So let them get mad. They need to understand that I seriously don't give a fuck. I'm going to be 18 years old soon before they know it and they will no longer have any control over me. I just need to handle all these until April 2nd, and boom! I'm out! They can't control me after I'm 18. It's the rules.

???: It may be the rules, but you're getting the business as soon as you turn 18.

Me: And I can do anything I want with it when it's mine. My brother didn't want it so now it's in my possession. A lot of things are gonna change as soon as it's mine.

I licked my lips just loving the idea of being able to have that business all to myself. No more parents using me and telling me what to do. I just have to survive 6 more months of this.

???: Will you be taking me out to fancy dinners?

Me: You wish. I seriously don't like you.

???: Well you can't get rid of me, big boy. I'm stuck with you forever and ever...

I can feel them whisper that last part through the phone and laugh afterwards.

I rolled my eyes and hung up the phone.

SERENITY'S POV

I walked back into the room. "Seonghwa, come with me." I walked back to the kitchen and he followed. I was making breakfast so I went to check on the eggs, scrambled was my choice of eggs to make this morning. Seonghwa slithered his hands around my waist and kissed down my neck. "Aww, you making us breakfast?" "Mhm" I tilted my head to the side so he can have more access. He continued to smother my neck in kisses, until I felt some pressure being added. I poured the eggs into a bowl and bit down on my lip. "Jesus, you're very needy..." "I do anything I can to make sure my baby isn't missing out on anything...important." The pressure left my neck and I went to touch it until he grabbed my hand and said "Don't touch the masterpiece, pup." I pouted and said "Is it a hickey?" He chuckled and said "A couple."

"YAH!" I punched his chest and said "A couple?! I'm supposed to hide this from my parents?!" He laughed. "Ay dios, Seonghwa. I seriously wanna choke you at times." "Oh my god, you're like a little puppy when it doesnt get its way. Aaah, you're so cute." I punched his chest again until he stopped me and looked straight into my eyes and said "Stop being a brat, puppy...you don't want to get punished so early in the morning..."
