Chapter 7

Me and Brantley have been together for a month and its been the best month ever. I'm doing a session right now and later I'm going to lunch with Moma Becky and Brantley has only texted me once today and it was to tell me good morning.

I pull up at the restaurant to meet Moma Becky. We are eating at Olive Garden so I walk in to find her waiting for me smiling.

"Hey sweetie" Moma Becky says hugging me

"Hey Moma"I say hugging her back

We follow our waitress to our table and order our drinks. After the waitress left we carry on a conversation until she brings our drinks back and takes our orders. After she leaves I ask moma if she heard from Brantley today and she said no. I'm worried that he is mad at me or that I have done something wrong.

After lunch Moma Becky goes home and I head to Wal-Mart to get Brantley a card, candle and a picture of us together printed off and put it in a frame. I pull up to my house and go in to find rose petals everywhere. They make there way into my bathroom and there is a bubble bath waiting on me.

After my nice relaxing bubble bath I go into my room and there is a box on my bed with a note on it. Umm this wasn't there when I came in earlier I think to myself. I read the note before opening the box.

Happy One month anniversary darlin. I hope you enjoyed your bath? Get dressed and drive to Potts Farm...can't wait to see you. I love you!!!

I stand there smiling like a idiot with tears in my eyes. I open the box to find a beautiful yet simple sun dress its black with a pair of boots. I get dressed, fix my hair then make up...one last look and I'm ready so I grap my purse, cell phone and keys.

I pull up at Potts Farm in awe of the sight. There are lights everywhere and Brantley is smiling at me. I walk up and plant a kiss on his lips.

"Hi" I whisper

"Hey darlin" he says smiling

"This looks amazing Brantley" I say looking around smiling shocked

"Thanks it took forever but it was worth it" he says never taking his eyes off me

"Happy Anniversary" I say

"Happy Anniversary Addy" he says softly pulling me into his arms

Brantley reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small remote and hits play. We dance and just hold each other. After 5 songs he stops dancing.

"Are you hungry?" He asks

"Yes" I say smiling

He leads the way onto the dock and there is a table with candles lite. He uncovers to plates of Five Cheese Ziti which he knows is my favorite and a bottle of wine.

"Well done Mr.Gilbert" I say in approval

"Thank you darlin" he says smirking

"Your very thoughtful today" I say sweetly

"Anything for you baby" he says smirking once again

We sit and eat our food while carrying on a comfortable conversation. After our meal I walk back to my truck and get Brantley's gift.

"Its not as good as this but..." I trail off giving him his anniversary present

"I love it baby...I love anything you give me" he says kissing me

Our kiss deepens and next thing I know we are making love. After making love we just lay on the back of the truck under the blankets Brantley brought. He thought of everything today.

"I love you Brantley" I say kissing him

"I love you baby...more than anything" he says kissing me back.

We soon fell asleep in the bed of his truck.
