It's Ours

Chapter 1

"Yea I'm on my way, I forgot my phone at home I had to turn back." The young blonde said to Jaina on the phone rushing to her table read.

It was the day Danielle was excited yet dreading. She found out about her new love interest and was relieved to know her and Jack are finally done. She's had other female interests on the show before but this one made her nervous. Everyone kept telling her how great of a person Stefania is and that she's even more beautiful in person which made her nervous for some reason.

Parking her silver four door honda civic, Danielle grabbed her keys and ran to the studio for her read hoping she wasn't late. Walking in relieved, she noticed the table read had not started yet. Jaina and Barrett were at the corner of the room talking when they noticed Danielle.

"Only took you long enough," Jaina says, sipping her coffee.

"Hmm, someone trying to avoid meeting their gorgeous new love interest?" Barrett says looking at Danielle then smirking to Jaina

"Okay ha-ha very funny, no I am not, I just forgot my phone."

She walks away from the two women and over to the food table to grab some coffee herself. Grabbing a muffin, a woman begins to approach her.

"Danielle?" The older italian woman questions looking directly at the blonde.

Looking up, Danielle seems to stumble and drop her muffin causing her to get a little flushed in her face.

"Haha hi there im Stefania." Extending her hand out to Danielle

Looking at the italian woman up and down in awe of the beauty in front of her. She just stands there not realizing Stefania spoke actual words to her. Barrett passes by and nudges her slightly, getting her out of that trance.

Extending her hand back to her "H-h-i, Im May- I mean Danielle, I am Danielle who plays Maya. But, you probably already knew that cause you're here and you-"

"Yes, I am playing your new girlfriend, I'm excited to see where this goes. Do you want to grab our seats before the table read starts?"

"I will be there in a minute."

The italian woman walks away, brushing her hand against Danielles arm. She freezes again. Jaina and Barrett walk back towards her.

"Blink once if you're in love, blink twice if you're already mentally married to her." Barrett says jokingly causing Jaina to almost spit out her coffee.

Danielle was openly bi-sexual. That is, she never announced it because it was not something to throw around; however, through conversations, she has clarified her interests in both men and women.

"I don't know what you're talking about, she's attractive yea but doesn't mean anything, she could be the rudest person ever."

"She looks like she rescues kittens and helps old people cross the street. God if I was into women I'd probably try to-" Jaina was cut off by Danielle.

"Okay enough you two, let's go sit."

Looking around for her name card, Danielle found her seat right next to Stefania. She could feel her hands get clammy but needed to make sure she stood focused knowing her friends were analyzing her every move with Stefania.

Table Reading

"I'm sorry, I'm drinking alone tonight." Maya says

"Are you sure?" Stefania asks

"Maybe not." Maya says, looking Stefania up and down.

Okay guys that's it for today, let's give Stefania a round of applause and let's make sure we make her feel welcomed into our Station family.

The rest of the cast and crew grabbed their belongings and headed out. Danielle stood up once everyone cleared out from her side of the room and was going to be the next to leave.

"Hey Danielle" The italian turned to the young blonde. "Thank you for making today easy-going, I look forward to working with you."

"Don't mention it, today felt very natural for once."

Stefania nodded in agreement and grabbed her belongings and began to head out.

"Ciao Danielle, see you Monday."

Unaware of what day it was because she was still captivated by Stefania and her italian words, Danielle walked towards the italian woman who was almost reaching her.

"Hey if you ever wanted to run lines together or grab some food, I'm free this weekend."

Stefania turned around and smiled at Danielle.

"I might take you up on that offer."

Both smiling at one another, Danielle watched Stefania get in her car and drive off waving bye to one another. She couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness rush through her body, it's different, not the happiness you get when you're around friends but the kind that you can't explain, it just comes. She was already thinking about the weekend, the fun her and Stefania could have until she thought of one thing. She never gave Stefania her number to call her...
