Insomnolence

PROLOGUE

"MOM PLEASE DONT JUMP GET DOWN!" The boy yelled with all his might. Trying to take a step towards his mother. But immediately taking a step back scared to look over the edge of the building, the street below filled with cars.

"YOUR THE REASON WHY... this is all your fault! If only you stayed quiet!" She cried as she took another step back. Letting her tears fall down her face as she looked at her son with disgust.

"IM SORRY I DIDNT MEAN TO! JUST GET DOWN I PROMISE I WON'T SAY THE TRUTH AT COURT! P-please come down" the little boys voice gave out the more he cried, struggling to get those words out of his mouth.

"NO..IVE ALREADY MADE MY MIND UP! I'm going to make sure you understand what you've done." She took a look back at the street below hesitating, but when seeing the kids in front of her she was determined this was the only way she wouldn't suffer. Tears welled up in her eyes as she took a step back. Soon the silhouette of the women disappeared.

"NO... I'm so sorry." The little boy cried into his hands as he curled into a ball. All he heard were the sounds of people screaming after the drop and sirens ringing in his ear. Getting up soon after wanting to follow his mom, what if that very jump made everything go back to the way it was before he ruined his family.

Before he could get close to the edge a paramedic leaned down and hugged him carrying him off the roof telling him that he was safe. He was trying to get out of her grip and jump too but the paramedic was stronger than him. He was feeling exhausted from crying so much, he slowly closed his eyes and fell asleep.

"The body of a women was found after she fell from the roof of XXX building. She was thought to have accidentally fallen after trying to save her child. It seems as though her child is safe."

I looked the screen the TV in my hospital room, and I saw a picture of my mother. I couldn't get the thought out of my head.

"If only you kept your mouth shut" I felt like an idiot I lost my brothers and parents all in one day. It happened so fast, all because I wanted to complain to someone, I thought I could trust, but I wrong, and it cost me my family.
