Panic attack||DDM

⚠️tw: anxiety, panic attacks⚠️

School has been stressful for you, always getting d-f's on all assignments, bad report cards, all that! Your dad was always mad about your grades and grounded you for a week but wasn't to harsh because he understood that school could be hard.

Currently your sitting on the couch trying to do your homework, while your dad and his bandmates/ my uncles are writing new music.

You keep getting emails from teacher's saying you need to turn work in and it just making you more stressed.

Currently you were working on some math when your phone lit up, you saw it was an email so you opened your phone (your school email is connected to your phone)

You saw the email was from your principle so you immediately opened it and read it

Dear,  Ms. Herron

  It has come to my attention that you are failing all your classes, if you do not get your grades up to at least a C- by next Friday, you will serve ISS until your grade is up. If there are any troubles as to why you haven't done the school work, please let me know and we can work something out. We will also be getting a hold of your dad to let him know what's going on.

(It's a Monday so you have two weeks basically to get the work done and ISS is in school suspension)

You noticed your breathing was getting heavier and noticed someone wrapping there arms around you...

Zachs pov
Me and the boys were writing some songs while my 14 yr old daughter y/n is on the other couch doing her homework.

I noticed her phone lit up and she stopped doing her work.

But while she was reading whatever it was I saw that she was starting to tear up, when she put her phone down she pulled her knees to her chest and put her head in between her knees and her breathing started getting heavier.

I put my guitar down and watched to see if her breathing would get better but I don't think it was

"y/n."

All the boys looked at me then at her, then at me again

"y/n are you ok?"

"shes gonna have a panic attack" jack stated

"how do you know? She doesn't have anxiety. " I question

"whether you believe me or not, thats what happens when I'm starting to have a panic attack." jack said

Zach sighs and gets up walking to the couch your on, he sits next to you and pulls you onto his lap so your sitting sideways on his lap, with your head in his chest

He slowly plays with your hair, and keeps doing it when he sees it's calming you down

When you eventually calm down, and there are only stray tears and small sniffles he asks you

"what happened?" I ask her

"m-my p-princable"

"what about your principle babe?"

You shakingly grab your phone and hand it to him, and he reads it

Once done he sighs and puts your phone down.

"it's fine, I promise I'll help you get caught up before next Friday."

Then he whispers in your ear quietly so the boys can't hear

"maybe if your lucky you can ask uncle bean to help you understand so you won't be this behind anymore."

You nod and cuddle into your dad

"tired?" he asks

You nod

"you can go to sleep if you want but it might be loud because me and your uncles have to practice"

You nod and cuddle into him more

He noticed that you wanted to stay out here so he got up holding you up and walked back to his spot he sat down and layed you down beside him with your head on his lap

He put a blanket from off the couch on you and you immediately fell asleep.

"what happened?" jonah asked

"her principle emailed her saying if she didn't bring her grades up by next Friday she would have to be in ISS  until her grades go up."

"why so harsh? She's only 14, do they not realize she has a life out of school and can't always spend 6 hours on homework? Hell most of the school years she's doing online school because of tour." jack stated

Zach sighs then shrugs

"i don't know what to do." Zach stated

"what did you whisper to her?" Daniel asked

"that if she was lucky she could ask Corbyn to help her understand so she wouldn't be this behind ever again."

"ill help her." Corbyn said

Zach nods

"thanks."

He nods, they then all go back to work and keep making music, trying to be as quiet as possible but it's hard when your playing with instruments.
