The sound of the gas pedal going off indicating you're at your stop, you get off but although it was the start of summer, droplets fall onto your face as you look up and shivered at the strong wind hitting you by the side. You faced a grey and boring building, it was another normal day at school.
You rush into the school's entrance covering your head with your school bag.
You soon caught up with your group of friends who were waiting for you. You view a few of them picking on a small figure you recognized to soon, Lee Hooni.
"Pff.. Pathetic." You snickered to yourself, you weren't no ordinary girl. You weren't either the shy or the popular kid, you were one of Hooni's bullies.
You felt no sympathy for the poor guy, he couldn't stand up for himself, the simplest thing he could do was tell one of the school staff right? Well he couldn't, you often teased him by the way he dressed or his appearance.
You always thought his bandages was some sort of edgy decor, so you obviously pointed that out too. You were always confused why he would tear up over some dumb bandages. You set your eyes on Yuen Sechan, your friend and also a long lasting crush of yours, he also bullies Hooni but you thought it was the most entertaining thing to watch.
Hooni couldn't do anything, he was too weak to even pull away and run, he was spat on and was left on the floor after they got bored. It was the routine and you didn't seem to mind that.
Sechan always found a way to pick on Hooni. Wether it was or not I front of the school teachers, the school teachers didn't do anything about since Hooni was failing all their classes so it didn't matter to them.
After a long day of school it was still raining, you decided to wait until the rain stopped since you forgot you're umbrella, Hooni also had the same idea. After 10 minutes the rain stopped, and you walk to your house like the usual.
But something sparked in you, since Hooni was leaving the same time as you were, you decided you could follow him to tease him some more. And maybe if you were lucky you could find out where he lived.
After a couple minutes of walking, Hooni stopped and hid behind a dumpster, you could see from afar, curious. Hah! That's where he lives? Raised by a bunch of rats! You thought.
He was rummaging in his backpack and pulled out what seemed to be a blade. You gasped, wondering if he saw you, was he going to attack you? "What the..?" You whispered under your breathe and you quickly hid behind the corner of an abandoned building that was about to crumble at any second.
Your heart was burning, echoing in your head but you heard a soft whimper coming from the dumpster. You peaked and it was Hooni, cutting himself. Though you were far from where he was, you observed the blade and it seemed to have dried blood on it. Has Hooni done this before? You shivered at the thought. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god... What the hell do I do?!" You panicked, trying to think of a solution.
Should I call an ambulance? No, I don't think they'll do anything but patch him up.. Shoot! I..
You were hesitant but you didn't want to get dragged into his business, you decided it would be best to leave him alone and go home. You were trembling, terrified but also mad at yourself for being selfish and not do anything.
