Once Again

Chapter 12

Military Camp...

"Greeting to the Archduke " all of the soldiers are bowing to show their respect for the Duke.

"I'm here to check your progress in sword so we will make a duel between all of you including me. The each of partner to duel will be determined through the ball in the box" said the Duke

The soldiers murmuring with each other. They feel shocked after the Duke said that he also will fight with one of them. All of them are scared because the Duke was very strong when fight especially in sword. Even the captain lose to him.

After done choosing the partner, they soldiers start their duel one by one. At last, the Duke turn has come and all of them feel excited to see the Duke duel with one of the soldiers.

"I will fight serious so you must also do your best. This are all to achieve victory in our hunting" said the Duke and get ready with his swords. The duel start and the soldiers make his first move to tackle the Duke, unfortunately the Duke move fast than him and clash his sword. The soldiers was very shocked because the Duke was so fast and the soldier hands feel heavy to wield the Duke sword. But, he never give up and still doing his best although he knows that he will never win against the Duke. The duel still going on and the Duke finally use his mana to the sword to make a stronger attack than before. Finally, the soldiers sword fall down since he's mana are not full enough to defend himself from the attack and the duel was end after the Duke win the fight.

"Are you alright??" asked the Duke

"Yes I'm alright, your grace" answer the soldiers and put his sword back in his sword bag ( it's like the sword cover on the side of their leg but idk what it's called )

"I think your mana are strong but your skill to use it... you must always practice to make your skill in using mana become more strong than this. Actually, I like how you fight againts me.... you never give up although you know that you will lose when you don't move faster than me but your spirit to fight is stronger and I know one day you will become more stronger than now" said the Duke and he patted the soldier shoulder and walked away to see the other soldiers training

" THANK YOU, YOUR GRACE. I WILL DO MY BEST" shouted the soldier after he saw that the Duke has walked away from him. The Duke just waving his hand. The soldier felt so happy since he got a praise from the Duke. He determined to do his best to achieve the words that the Duke told him.

House Of Leonard...

"Finally!! It's done!!" shout Raenifer but not very loud. All of the workers smile and wiped their sweat and tidy up the items used to plant the roses and lilies. After they settle their work, Raenifer approach them and said...

"I'm so so thankful for your help. Since you guys already helped me too much... I will give you all one day to take a walk around the city to buy your own necessities start from tomorrow " said Raenifer. All of the workers feel excited thinking that they can go out tomorrow.

"THANK YOU, MY LADY!! " said all of them and bowing down to Raenifer. Then, all of them dismissed and Raenifer go to her room to take a bath after sweating too much. She go in the bath and sighed. Her body feel fresh with the citrus soak that was put into the bath. She close her eyes and start thinking about the Duke.

"When will he come back?? I already finish my work but he still not home. I wonder what he's doing right now. Did he have too many work??" Raenifer talking to herself and rest herself in the bathtub.

At night...

Raenifer go to the dining room to eat dinner but she didn't see Evan there so she deicde to ask the maids.

"Did Evan still does not coming home??" asked Raenifer and sit on the chair to eat. 

"Not yet, my lady" 

"I bet he really busy today huh" said Raenifer and start eating her dinner.

Late Night...

"Haaa... finally done my work for today" said Evan to his secretary Leo

"Thank you for your hard work, Your Grace. Your grace can get your rest now so I will go now" said Leo. Evan nodded his head and Leo went out from the office. Evan sit on his sofa for a while and close his eyes using his hands. Suddenly, someone enter the room..

"Evan!! Finally you're back!!" shout Raenifer

"Rae?!! What are you doing here?? It's already midnight why are you still not sleep??" asked the Duke with a shocked face

"I'm waiting for you... hehe" smile Raenifer

"Haihh... why?? Did something happen??" 

"Nothing. Today I just finished plant all of the seeds and I just felt happy so I want to meet you as fast as I can but you come home so late"

"Are you satisfied?? With the seeds of lilies I gave to you??"

"Of course!! I only thought to plant roses but Charlie said that you give me lilies so I will plant it for you" said Raenifer and smile showing her teeth.

"Why are you in your office room?? Go to your bedroom now and rest. You must be so tired today so get enough rest" said Raenifer and pull Evan hands and bring him to his bedroom.

"Hahaha why are you walking so fast while pulling my hands ?? I can walk by myself" laughed Evan when he see Raenifer treat him like a child

"I'm afraid if you will do more work again after get home. That is why I must bring you to your bedroom faster" They go to Evan room and then Raenifer put Evan on his bed.

"Fuhh... you are so heavy. It's hard to pull you" said Raenifer while Evan just smiling looking at her silliness

"Now you must take a bath to make your body feel fresh. After that, you can go to bed and rest well. Do not overworking" said Raenifer

"Okay okay. I will do as you ask" 

"Good!! Now I will go to my room. Sleep tight, Evan" said Raenifer and start to walk out but Evan pulled her hand and make Raenifer fall onto Evan. Her hand touch Evan chest and that makes her shocked.

"I'm sorry!! I didn't mean to touch you!!" flustered Raenifer and she want to get up from Evan but Evan pull her again and hugged Raenifer

"E-evan?!!"

"Can you stay like this for a while?? I'm trying to regain my energy back" said Evan while hugging Raenifer and his eyes was closed. Raenifer just stay still after she heard Evan say like that. She felt shy but she wanted to make Evan feel calm after Evan had just finished his much work. They are hugging for about 15 minutes. Then, Raenifer slowly get up from Evan and she saw that Evan already fell asleep.

"He must be so tired" Raenifer take Evan blanket and put on Evan after that she whisper to Evan "Goodnight, Evan" and walk out from the room quietly.
