"So I'm not even going to apologize for Asher's blatant disrespect, I'm sure his Beverly Hills Barbie built girlfriend will do that plenty once she gets over here. But how's your moms?" It was a mouthful but she has amazing lungs. Keep that in mind.

"Shes good. She was kinda upset once you stopped coming over, but she understood why. Another reason why she was so adamant about me coming here." He answered nudging the girl who was sat next to him. "And Dillon?" She questioned eating a fry. "He's pretty good. He's still madly in love with you, probably now more than ever. Maybe one day you'll come visit?" Anissa thought about it before vocalizing her answer. "You know what? I think I will. I miss the old gang. How's Coop, Shawn, Brandon? Everyone, spear me no detail." She said with a smile and Spencer sighed. "Uh, Brandon passed away. When we were like 15. Shawn joined the gang for revenge and I fear that Coop's going to end up going down that same path." Anissa shook her head. She felt bad with how out of loop she was with Crenshaw. Pretty much everyone there knew her as being Shahidi's little girl, and if not that everyone knew her as the kind little girl who was constantly doing as much as seven year old her could for the community. Whether it was donating her clothes and shoes, spending her allowance on food to pass out to the Crenshaw homeless or the fact that there's a park named after her and her brothers, due to all that they've done.

"And you?" She questioned squinting. "I'm good. Better now, that I've found my best friend again." He answered truthfully. "Yep." She said mushing his head. "Now I get to kiss your cheeks! Ugh! I've missed bothering you." She said wrapping her arm around the back of his neck, kissing his cheek playfully as he tried to push her off, laughing at the girls' antics. "What about you? And your moms and your pops?" "We're good. My moms been working and my Dad keeps busy, oh and I'm sure you'll see him, seeing as he does pop ups here to make sure I'm 'behaving'. Yeah, Shahidi Karter don't play." She joked abd they both laughed, but she couldn't have been being more serious. "Oh god, you've gotta come over. Here's my number just text me." She told him typing her number into his phone. "Bet. Now we can catch up." Spencer said taking her phone and doing the same.

"Yep! And now we get to paint our nails— bye!" The girl stood up before Spencer could object, walking off because of course she was right, Layla had sat down in front of Spencer, doing exactly what Anissa had said she'd do said.
