❝ honestly, i thought i would be dead by now. ❞
(l/n) (y/n) is a contradiction. she's strong, yet stoical. powerful, yet subtle. insistent, yet quiet. awkward, yet charming. maybe that's why a lot of people got their attention on her.

Pursing his lips solemnly, Midoriya's eyes gazed upon the untouched food on the floor. The way that the packaged box and paperbag sat still on the ground almost looked offensive to him.
'She didn't eat again...' He thought to himself as his throat painfully restricting around nothing. The paperbag that he was currently holding made an ugly crinkling sound when his hands clenched into fists.
The green haired boy didn't know what has happened to make (Y/N) suddenly cut herself off. She was fine for the first few days of her house arrest but when day three rolled around, she never came out of her room when anyone was around and she never cooked food for herself to eat either.
She simply... shut everyone out all of a sudden.
Taking a deep breath, he gathered up the courage to finally knock on her door. His closed fist hang in the air, and knocking again when he was only met with silence. He knocked again when another minute of stillness has passed.
He gasped for air and prepared to yell, "(L/N)— AH?!"
Unexpectedly, the door swung open in a harsh way, making him stumble a few steps back. He was greeted by the sight of the (H/C) haired girl. At first glance, she looked fine— she looked like her usual self but he knew better than that.
(Y/N) might say that she's alright but he can see the dark bags underneath her eyes, her jaw was locked tighter and obviously, her appetite reduced. Her eyes looked even more duller and her silences are longer.
"What do you want?"
Midoriya frowned. "We've been trying to reach out to you, but you never answered. (L/N)-san, you need to eat or else..."
She raised her eyebrow in question as she caught sight of the bag in his hand, but she replied nonetheless with the most nonchalant tone he ever heard from her, "I don't feel like eating."
His eyes darted behind her and around her room. He could see several empty water bottles on her table and her charging laptop; but other than that, her room looked pretty empty and neat.
'She... drinks water but doesn't eat.' A deeper frown etched its way into his usually soft features. 'She has no drive. She seems apathetic...' His viridian eyes settled once again on her taller form and he gulped, feeling his eyes sting from the thought.
"Are you here to tell some bad news for me or something?" She asked, eyelids fluttering tiredly as she leaned her body against the door frame. "Extended confinement or..." Then she crossed her arms and looked at him in the eye. "A death sentence?"
"You..." Startled, Midoriya yelled, "No! You'll be alright! There's nothing relatively close to that— No— No!" He frantically said, closing his eyes on instinct as he shook his head vigorously, not wanting the idea in his brain.
