It was a sunny day. I had nothing to do but watch TV. Then, I heard the doorbell. I got up to see who's outside. When I opened the door, a man with navy blue uniform was standing in front of me holding an envelope. I took the envelope, after that, the man saluted me and left. It was weird getting a letter from a guy in a typical sunny day. I went up to my room, not taking my eyes off the envelope. I closed the door and sat on my bed. I used a pocket knife to open it. My jaw dropped, I was in disbelief, a Cadet gave up his position and was offering it to me. Immediately, I searched where the harbor was and the moment I memorized the place, I packed my bags.

Finally, all my life I was nothing. Nothing but a guy who stays at home and watches Netflix throughout the day. Now, I'm going to be a Cadet. I was excited, filled with adrenaline rush. Upon arriving, two able seamen was waiting for me. They helped me with my bags and joined me as I went to the head office.

The First Mate was telling me all those motivational stuff. It's an honor having you as our new Cadet- blah blah blah. Anyway, one of the able seamen led me to the Locker room. I changed my clothes and dang I looked good. Navy Blue uniform exactly like the guy who gave me the letter. Actually, I wondered if he WAS the former Cadet. I told the able seaman and asked if the guy was actually the former Cadet. The able seaman answered but he gave me few information about the guy. I asked him if he knew why the guy gave up his position. He refused to answer and left me in the Locker room. I was confused. When I was about to leave the locker room, the guy was standing near the door. He was wearing pale taupe Hoodie covering half of his face. I ran up to him but my foot hit the door of my locker, I closed the locker and when I looked back, he was gone. I was starting to feel curiosity. No time for that, priorities first.

The ship was amazing. Wooden floor, medium-sized glass chandeliers hanging on the ceiling with a lamp at the gap. The tables were aligned in a diagonal pattern, artificial plants perfectly placed, oh it was good. The ship was filled with passengers with formal attire. First class, I guessed. I don't even know where to start, I explored the ship from the top to the very bottom floor. There was something about the ship that I didn't like, the feeling. The unusual feeling. The very moment I stepped on the ship, I felt this feeling that something or someone, is watching me. I put the thought aside. It was my first time at a ship after all. I went outside and relaxed. When I opened my eyes, someone was with the two able seamen. A guy, must be the one who was giving me the creeps. This time he was wearing a different hoodie, it was maroon colored with whitish-gold text that says, Trap. I just ignored him.

The first few days were fine. Until the ninth day. There are still no signs of land, salty sea water everywhere. I asked the Captain, he had no idea. He said that they'll find a way. Okay- I thought. Two days after, still no land. I was about to ask the Captain again when the speakers...

"Hello? Umm... Hi everybody, this is your Captain talking. You might wondering why are we still sailing. Well, we are having trouble with the GPS and the Radio. Both are, um... how should I say this, broken?" Then everybody panicked. I knew they were scared, so am I. For the fourth time, I saw the mysterious guy. Again, he was wearing a different hoodie. Rich black colored with the same whitish-gold texts except that it now says, Trapped. I am definitely having a talk with him later, if I find him. The Captain continued... "Everybody! Everybody please calm down. We are trying our best to fix this problem. *voices in the background* Oh okay. See you later everybody." Panic was still in the room. I was sweating. I remembered what I was going to do. Find the mysterious guy. I searched the entire deck. I found him at the very end of the hallway, still the same hoodie. I walked very carefully, slowly to him. When I was about two meters from him, I asked him who he is, what does he want. He answered...

"Nothing. You... everybody... forever and ever. Here." After that, he stomped the floor so hard I flinched. When I regained my consciousness, he was gone, but there were footprints, I followed it. It led me to a room with a door slightly open. I went inside, there was a TV. A news report was playing...

"People of America, welcome back to News Now. Even after 75 years of its disappearance, the S.S. Tungler, the ship carrying about 3,756 passengers, is still a mystery to scientists. And for celebrity news, The newly..."

75 years. I just sat. 75 years. I was on this cruise ship for 75 years. It only felt like, a week. But outside, 75 years. I walked to the Main Hall just to see all the people here with me. I stood there, not sure what to feel. But I knew something, I knew that this ship, this is where I will die.
