1 || Unexpected Meeting

Marinette walked home from school with a heavy heart. She had just seen Adrien with his girlfriend, Kagami, and it had left her feeling more alone than ever. As she walked, she heard a familiar voice calling out to her.

"Hey there, Marinette!" Chat Noir said, landing on a nearby rooftop.

Marinette was surprised to see him, but also a little relieved. Chat Noir had always been a good friend, and she could use some company right now.

"Hey, Chat Noir," she said, forcing a smile.

"What's wrong?" he asked, his cat-like eyes filled with concern.

Marinette hesitated for a moment, unsure if she should tell him about her feelings for Adrien. But something about Chat Noir made her feel like she could trust him.

"It's just...Adrien," she said, finally.

Chat Noir's expression softened. "I know it's hard to see him with Kagami. But you'll find someone who loves you for who you are, Marinette. I promise."

Marinette couldn't help but smile at his words. Chat Noir always knew how to make her feel better.

"Thanks, Chat Noir," she said, feeling a little lighter.

"Hey, do you want to hang out for a while?" he asked, gesturing to the rooftop he was standing on. "We can watch the sunset together."

Marinette hesitated for a moment, but then she nodded. She could use a distraction right now, and Chat Noir was always good company. Together, they climbed up to the rooftop and settled in to watch the sunset.
