~ 2 weeks till tour

you were laying on top of him in the living room on the couch.

he was shirtless and wearing grey sweats.

just like he knew you loved it.

you were watching a movie and he ran his hand up and down your back the whole time.

" hey, baby. why couldn't the astronout book a room on the moon?" he asked with a smile.

" i don't know, z. why? " you couldn't help but smile back.

" because it was full. " he giggled.

it took you a second but then you figured it out and you both burst out laughing, " what in the fuck was that? " you said and you both just laughed harder.

" these jokes are getting terribly bad, babe. " you joked.

" hey! you still laugh though!" he defended.

" true, true. " you couldn't contain the smile on your face.

~ on facetime while he's on tour

" i miss you so much. i just wanna lay on the couch with you and tell you my terrible jokes that only you will laugh at. i wanna hold you in my arms. i wanna kiss you so so bad. i wanna-" he continued on and on but you cut him off.

" babe, you're going to drive yourself mad if you keep going on and on. i miss you too, so so much, but i promise i'll see you soon okay. go enjoy the time you have with your fans and go spend time with your band mates. you're traveling the world and doing what you love. i couldn't be more proud of you, i love you, okay?"

he sighed, " okay, okay only for you. i love you. bye, princess "

" bye, hun. " you blew each other a kiss and hung up.

you both hated distance but it wouldn't be for long anymore, 3 more weeks then it'll all be over.

~ on stage, on his birthday

" happy birthday dear zach. happy birthday to you! whooo! " the boys and the crowd sang and cheered.

your heart was beating so fast but you opened the curtains and stepped on stage.

you walked behind him and tapped him on the shoulder.

he turned around and almost dropped his cake out of surprise.

he was so happy to see you.

he immediately picked you up and hugged you.

the crowd was loving this and the boys too.

" happy birthday, hun. " you smiled and kissed him.

" thank you baby oh god i can never leave you again " he chuckled and held you closer.

he pulled away from the hug and pulled you in for another kiss.
