When they arrived at class it had already started, Avary scanned the classroom looking for Jace but instead seeing that the seat was empty, coincidentally just as she was about to take her seat Jace entered the classroom, the subject teacher unfortunately got angry and the late comers which included Avary and Jace got 2 weeks after school detention. Groaning in displeasure Avary accidentally hit her head on the desk raising it in pain, she looked at the side of her and saw Jace who seemed to be stifling a laugh. This caused Avary to pout and furrowed her brows, making Jace stare dazed at her....cute... he thought, blushing.

Avery Covered her face in her arms with an embarrassing sigh. 'Ugh whyyy-I'm such an idiot' she fretted.

After class in the library

Avary walked in with Jace, and they sat next to each other. The librarian walked up to the class. ''I'm sure most of you know the rules considering we have new faces present, so I don't have the time to discuss it with you, so I only want you to follow a few main rules, which is to be quiet no talking, no use of electronic devices, you are not allowed to leave here without permission unless your detention period is over'' the librarian relayed to Them.

After explaining she left them and went towards her desk, Avery did not take the risk of speaking to get herself in more trouble.  But after she went back to her desk, the librarian suddenly revived a phone call and went outside, giving Jace the chance to talk to Avary.

"First time in detention?" He smirked and chuckled under his breath. Listening to him, Avary rolled her eyes, "pfft! As if!" She gave him a 'I'm-no- goody-two-shoes-look-' causing his eyes to look at her gradually becoming warm and gentle, this look caught Avary off guard. "Oh really?" Jace smirked.

"Yea. Really!" Avary grimes proudly, causing Jace to smile, "well, if you say so." He grinned which had a hint of mischief-making Avary start to regret 'what's he up to' she wondered. About a minute into thinking, the librarian suddenly came back. "I'm going to be leaving for a moment, but that does not mean that I won't know if you will be up to mischief." She said, scanning every student's facial expression, giving them what seemed to be an 'intimidating' look.

After giving out a few more warning she left, Jace looked at Avary and smiled mischievously "oh no..." Avary mumbled under her breath. He quickly but quickly got up from his desk, pulling Avary along with him. Puzzled, she still got up, allowing him to pull her. He perked through the window which was on the door looking for any signs of the library teacher Avary looked at his actions seeing him observing outside she also peeked and saw that the library teacher was having an argument over the phone.

"Looks like it's not going to be over any time soon" Jace smiled. A cunning look forming on his usual cold and charming face.

Avary looked at him before smiling "well" she said waiting for him to get to the point but also getting an idea of what he was up to. He dragged her down to the end of the shelves into a dark corner of the library, as they walked Avary began to notice that the hall seems to have gotten longer.
Puzzled, she looked at Jace.

Seeing Avary looked at him, he knew what she wanted to ask. He smiled 'reassuringly' as they soon walked through the Door.

The sudden bright light entered Avary and Jace's eyes, squinting slightly at the suddenness of light entering her vision, she soon adjusted herself to it. As she began to see clearly, her eyes subconsciously drifted to Jace who stared at her for what seemed to be a long time.

"What?" She asked him obliviously. Only to receive a smirk in return as his gaze moved to her hands.

Finally, realizing that her fingers were intertwined with those of a fair and masculine hands she stared at it as her eyes widened with realization. "Th-that!" She numbered under her breath. "Comfortable aren't we?" Jace teased.

Avary quickly moved her hands away from his. This sudden move made a slight frown appear on Jace's eyebrows. As he thought to himself, 'why was I reluctant...?'

"We're at the back of the school?" Avary asked after scrutinizing her surroundings. "Yup" Jace replied after snapping out from his wandering thoughts.

"So! What adventure are we up to now?" Avary smiled innocently yet 'mischievously' inside.
Oh. If only Jace knew what a mischievous person she was on the inside. Not that he'd be surprised.
