the promise

Boruto pov
Me and kawaki were asleep I woke up to the smell of breakfast it smelled like bacon and eggs mom must be making breakfast smells good I got up out of bed and went to the kitchen kawaki got out of bed not long after I heard mom and dad talking dad comes home more now that he has his paper work finished I sat down at the table "you ok son?" I felt dad put his hand on my shoulder "yeah I'm ok just happy your home again" he smiled at me and sat down "where's kawaki?" "He's still asleep'" "never said I was" I got up and went to the stairs and hugged him he hugged me back we went downstairs and eat after we eat we went to hang out with the others I don't know why he fell for me I'm week and I don't even appreciate my dad he never had one and I made him feel like shit "kawaki can I ask you something" he looked at me '' what is it?'' '' why do you love me i treat my dad like shit and i never appreciate things i have i have a mom and dad and papa never had a mom or dad i don't deserve love'' he looked at me and hugged me i hugged back '' listen to me ok you just wanted your dad to be home again and want someone to talk to trust me i know your dad loves you the most in this world and he will do anything to make you happy and love him you just want him to notice you again'' we went back home a few hours later dad was home early he asked kawaki to stay down stairs i went to my room and went to sleep

kawaki pov;

i woke up to really good smell of food i walked down the stairs and boruto come running up the stairs and gave me a hug we eat breakfast and then went to hang out with the others we had fun but then when the others fell asleep boruto asked me some things that i know for myself '' kawaki can i ask you something" "what is it?" "Why do you love me I treat my dad like shit  and I never appreciate things I have I have a mom and a dad and papa never had a mom or dad I don't deserve love" I looked at him and higher him "listen to me okay you just want your dad to be home someone to talk to trust me I know your dad loves you the most in this world he will do anything make you happy and love him you just want your dad to noice you" we went back home a few hours later Naruto came home he asked me to stay down stairs and boruto went to his room "can I talk to you kawaki" "yeah what's up" "thank you for loving him promise you will love him no matter what and protect him at all matters when you see him tell him I'm proud of him and I love him all I ask of you" "I will" he hugged me and I went upstairs and went to bed I'll tell him tomorrow
