[Prologue]

He nudged the mans corpse to the side, warm crimson soaking his black combat boots. With a twisted smirk he inhaled from the cigarette that hung loosely from his bottom lip.

"What's your name, love?" He purred as he towered over the trembling form of the girl below him, a mere few inches from the dead mans corpse.

"Heather.." she choked out through shallow sobs, her gaze refusing to meet the killers own.

"Heather...what a lovely name~" he cooed, reaching to drag his pale hand through the girls platinum blonde tresses, slightly frizzled from bleach damage.

The girl flinched at his touch, her sobs intensifying as the man before her tightened his grazed knuckles around her damaged locks. His eyes traced her form, taking in the girls figure as he knelt down before her, causing her to scoot back further against the mildew covered wall in a vain attempt to distance herself from him.

It was now that she could take in the killers full form, his pale skin adorned by heavy bags under his eyes, his left iris a deep shade of hazel green, the right a piercing blue. His sharp jaw line and defined, hollowed cheekbones were framed by tattered black hair, the same colour as the stubble atop his lip. She hated to admit it, but he was undeniably attractive, in the 'I'm one cigarette away from death' kind of way.

The man before her smirked in amusement, a low chuckle rumbling from his chest. "You can call me Eric by the way." he said in between puffs of his now half smoked cigarette.

"Don't worry I won't kill you, not yet at least..."
