I stood, I was at a loss of words, "Y-" I thought about things I would have to say goodbye to. I could tell he was a bit worried when I didn't answer right away. "Yes." I said smiling. He smiled and slipped the ring onto my finger. He reached up and spun me around.
The fans screamed louder than I've ever heard them scream. "Two more songs tonight before this wonderful tour comes to an end." Cody said making a frowney face. I waved goodbye and headed of stage. The fans screamed loudly as I exited.
Cody continued singing for the rest of the time, cracking a few jokes along the way. Before he finished by giving his band a hug for the last time until the next tour. "Ella..... My fiancé." He said, smiling coming up to me.
I shoved him away playfully, "Your sweaty! Gross!" I said laughing. He played along and acted like I hurt his feelings. "Well, I was going to say I love you but...." He trailed off, I ran up to him. "No! Say it!" I said curling against him.
"If I have to." He said, "I love you." He said.
...........
I watched confused as we drove right passed our hotel. "Cody? You know we ju-" "I know." He replied. "Then where are we going?" I asked. "You'll see, and you'll like it." I was confused. But went along with the ride.
Soon enough we pulled in front of a gated house. "Cody...." I knew what this was as he pulled into the driveway of the house. "Welcome home. Well, to our new home." He said looking at me with his hopeful emerald eyes.
"You bought us a house in LA?" I asked. "Yea, I hoped you wouldn't mind.... Do you like it?" I smiled. "Of course I do!! Cody I love it!" I said. I hugged him, "Let's go inside a check it out!" I said getting out of the car and going to the house.
"Plus, it's gated and really good security so no one can harm us." Cody said following close behind. We went inside and I immediately went and explored the home.
........
I sat back on one of our crouches we had, my stuff from my flat had just arrived and I had finished unpacking almost all of it. "Tired are we?" Cody asked putting harry on my lap. "Yea, unpacking is hard work, especially in this big home." I said.
"I'll order pizza, you don't have to worry about food." He said getting up to order. "Thanks!" I said. I looked at the binder on the coffee table of our wedding plans. I picked it up and looked at it. It was a winter wedding, only because that's the only time he had off of tour.
Ii flipped through our plans for the wedding, "what would you do if we had a baby?" Cody's question came into my mind. "Cody?" He looked at me for the couch and hushed me, he was on the phone still.
I waited until he was done to come over to me. "What's up? Why do you need me?" He asked. "Cody, there's something I need to tell you-important." I said hesitating, I was pregnant. But I don't know if he'll accept the baby.
"I- I'm sort of-" I gulped. "Pregnant." He didn't say anything for awhile, "Cody?" I asked, he responded to his name. "I'm gonna be a dad." He said running over to look me in the eyes. "We're gonna have a family." He said.
"I am so glad your not mad." "Of course not, your my fiancé, your my friend, nothing. I repeat nothing. Will break us apart." He said. I smiled. "We're gonna be one big happy family." I replied.
"Forever." He said, giving me a kiss and holding his hand on my stomach. Even though no child was physically there quite yet, I lied it and Cody.
Nothing could've have ruined this moment, I loved it, I loved us.
