A Girl that Games

Video games aren't for girl?!

People tend to perceive the idea that video games are not for girls. Girls will never be as good of a gamer as a boy. Video games are a natural skill for guys where it will take a girl 10 years to learn how to game like a pro. This is all wrong. Every idea, every assumption, every discrimination against girls is wrong. I'm 16 years of age and have been gaming since i was 6. My very first gaming console was a game cube. Over the years, I have collected many consoles with many games. My favorite of all is the Nintendo64 and i cherished that consoled until i was at least 12. I have many other consoles, including portable consoles such as a PSP, nintendoDS, nintendoDSI XL, game-boy, ps3, xbox1, and ps4. I love gaming and I'm very well at it. It creates a place for me where I can show people that girls game too. Video games conceal me into this world where I can take out my anger on camping bastards, shit talk the noobs, and rank highest in my clan. Now, as a gamer in all, I do hate people who use video games to make it seem as if they are good at it or just to get attention. For instance, pretty girls who shop, worry too much about their hair, nails, and boys are usually the ones who actually dont know how to game, and because of the whole idea that video games are a guy's throne and just about every guy plays video games that they would take advantage of that to make the gamers vulnerable to their good looks, and nice bodies. This specific type of person is what caused the discrimination against girls playing video games. They are the reason that everytime i play video games in a multiplayer lobby that i get sexually harrassed because i have a vagina. Then again, because Im so skilled at playing video games, guys that lose to me attend to make rude remarks such as she's probably a fat ugly girl, or she has no life because she spends all day and everyday playing video games and that's why she's so skilled at this one game. As everyone can see I am not fat, I have school, a job, friends and a boyfriend, and a life. Video games just so happen to be apart of that life. Just had to throw that in. Anyways, the entire gaming lifestyle for a girl is very hard to live because guys just can not face the fact that girls can beat a guy at his own game. Girls were born with natural skills just like the rest. A vagina and breast doesnt determine skills and it damn sure doesnt determine mine.
