Darkness clouds the sky overhead, overcast upon dim silvery stars as the moon hangs dustily in the swarthy, almost-black indigo night sky. The stratosphere is hued a lovely, faint violet, like the luster of shimmering jewels and amethyst; while what's overhead of Jeon Jungkook is promising, what's in front of him is dreadful.

Min Yoongi.

"I don't wanna be here," he hears the blond mutter under his breath like a mad man. The R.I's assassin continuously clenches his fists, clutching the dagger in his holster on his hips as some feeble attempt to control himself. Jungkook gulps. He doesn't want to be victim of one of Yoongi's crazed murder bursts.

"You're not alone." Jungkook scoffs from beside Yoongi, ensuring to keep his voice hushed and low. They crouch behind a car parked behind Song Byunghoon's mansion, the petite back iron gate just a few feet away.

Song's mansion is no longer a glittering, golden abode of flaxen lights and bustling classy partygoers; tonight, the mansion is quiet, sitting peacefully and tranquilly under the still, watchful eye of the moon. The lights are turned off, and forestry palm trees planted on the outskirts of the property sway gently in the wind. If Jungkook didn't know better, he'd think this is a place of comfort and joy.

But no — Song Byunghoon's home is a place where his kidnappings take place, where he whispers lies in his victims' ears and takes them away, never to be seen again.

Jungkook crinkles up his nose. He doesn't blame you at all for wanting him dead, daughter or not.

" . . Do you see anyone?" Jungkook questions Yoongi sharply, deciding to be the bigger man and get the mini mission over with already.

"Do you think if I woulda saw somebody I'd still be here?" Yoongi hisses in response, turning his head to the young bodyguard. His observing eyes stare back forwards, furthermore surveying the outside of the mansion for any guards. "They'd be dead by now."

Jungkook purses his lips in response. What occurred between them in the past . . He wishes it didn't have to happen. After what Yoongi told him what he'd be doing, something in him couldn't take in anymore.

Tech suit on and hugging his body in a series of black harnesses, holsters, and electronics, Jungkook shifts uncomfortably. He doesn't enjoy being so close with Yoongi physically, nor does he like being alone with him.

'Maybe because it seems that at any given moment, he'll turn around and kill me,' the bodyguard thinks grimly.

Yoongi is also wearing a tech suit, courtesy of the R.I's room full of different kinds of them. Thanks to Hoseok, they have tech suits for fighters, shooters, and even people like Yoongi — a mix of both.

Jungkook looks down at the dimly glowing neon green screen on his wrist, showing a digital representation of his heartbeat on it. Jungkook swallows dryly. He doesn't want to use his booster — at all. He's only used it twice in a panic, and after the sheer agonizing pain he experienced in those moments, he doesn't look forward to activating it again.
