Eddie looked up at the voice, staring at the boy in front of him. He wore glasses and a hawaiian shirt. His hair was medium length and he was just staring at Eddie.
Once he realised he hadn't answered, he cleared his throat. He looked the boy up and down again before talking. "And who might you be?"
This boy, who Eddie has no clue who he is, gulps before adjusting his glasses. He puts his hand out, for Eddie to shake (he guesses).
"Tozier, Richie Tozier." he says, a smile on his face.Eddie shakes his hand, before smiling lightly. "Well, i'm Eddie. Eddie Kaspbrak." He says to the boy. The boy, now known as Richie, smiles, before trying to look past him into the classroom. Eddie's confused before Richie speaks again. "My friend Ben is in there, i came to annoy him." He says, moving past Eddie to the door. Eddie just looks at him from where he stands and shrugs.
"Why are you out of class anyway?" He asks to Richie, scratching his feet against the ground. His shoes looked tatted, he had to ask his mum for a new pair. He looks up to see the boy putting a middle finger up through the window, probably to his friend. He laughs lightly while shaking his head. "Oh me?" Richie says turning to face him, once again fixing his glasses. "Me and Bev were messing around in miss randols class and of course i was the one to get sent out. I didn't even do anything, Shes just a bitch to people like me because apparently i'm a," he says, putting his fingers up to gesture, "chatter box who needs to be put in his place" He states, continuing to ramble on.
Eddie just nods along like he understands, but he doesn't. He's learned in the past five minutes or so that Richie is a talker, and does a lot of it. "You seem like a goody-too shoes, why are you out here?" He asks, brining the attention to Eddie. The boy just shrugs, and Richie takes that as an answer as he fixes his glasses for the fourth time.
"Well, i have to get going before i get my head chopped off." Richie says, looking back into the class and giving Ben a face. He faces Eddie again, before smiling and starting to walk off. "Bye eddie spaghetti!" Richie shouts, as he bursts through the door toward the stairs. Eddie huffs our a breath, holding his hands up to his mouth before shouting out, "Don't ever call me that again you dick." He slightly smiles before turning and going back into class.
Once in his seat, Stanley asks him where he was. He didn't exactly come in before Richie found him, he got bored so he walked around before school with his headphones in, but with music blasting in his ears he couldn't hear the bell. So by the time he got to his classroom, he had just put his headphones into his pocket as Richie came through the double doors. He smiled at the thought of him, quickly dismissing it though, as he started writing down what was on the board.

"He was just standing there when i got there, it looked like he got sent out." Richie says at the lunch table, two periods after the events with Eddie. He moved his glasses further back on his nose, looking at Ben and Bev. They were at their normal lunch spot, outside past the trees behind the gym. Nobody ever came back here so it was a perfect place for the three of them to hang out during breaks.Ben was nodding along to what Richie said, with jam drooling from his sandwich onto his chin. Bev was smoking, her lunch already finished. And Richie didn't have lunch money so he had to skip today. But Ben did give him a chocolate bar so he supposes he will be fine until he has to find something to scratch up at home.
"Well, Rich," Beverly said, turning to face him. "Maybe he was being a chatter box who needs to be put in his place just like you." She says, smirking lightly at him. His face scrunches up as he lightly punches him in the arm, huffing out a grunt. She just laughs as she passes him the cigarette packet and her lighter, as she goes back to her conversation with Ben. He lights it up, slowly breathing out the smoke that was intoxicating his lungs.
Then, Ben and Bev stop talking, which is unusual. Richie looks over to where they are to see a group of people surrounding someone. He immediately knew who the group was. It was bowers and his gang, picking on someone like they always did. Richie snuffed out his cigarette on the ground, starting to walk over there with Beverly by his side. As they got closer, They saw it was a kid in one of his classes. His name was mike, the new kid who's been homeschooled most of his life up until this year.
"What you gonna do, huh?" Henry shouts, getting in the boys face. Richie could physically see him flinch, trying to get away. The group just laughed at him, as bowers went to punch him in the face. "Oi bowers, leave him alone" Beverly said, walking a little closer then Richie is. He has his arms folded, glaring at the scene ahead of him. Henry drops mike, as he runs over (well tripping basically) to Richie. He helps the boy onto his feet, as Ben comes over to them.
"Look guys, its Beverly. Im so scared" Henry says, laughing. His laughter caused the other bullies to laugh with him, until he glared back at them to stop. "What are you going to do? Fuck me like every boy in this school?" He says, getting close up to her face. That riles something up in Richie, causing him to try to step forward. Ben holds him back with a hand, giving him a soft look.
And then, Beverly slaps Henry round the face. That causes a silence in the area, a couple of teachers looking towards them. Henry brings a hand to his face slowly, looking at her. He knows he can't hit a girl, it's not right or respectful. So instead, he just shoves past her, the rest of his little group following after.
"Hey homeschool, are you okay?" She asks, turning round to face him. He's got blood dripping from his lip, and by the looks of it a swollen eye. Mike just shrugs at her, rubbing at his lip then hissing at the sting. They start walking back to their spot, going through the trees with mike tagging along with them. "You didn't have to do that, now he'll be after you." Mike says, from the middle of their little line. "oh bowers? He's always after us." Ben says, just infront of him. "Yeah, welcome to the losers club homeschool." Richie says from the back, patting him on the shoulder as they reached the back of gym once again to find it empty as it always is.
