I unpacked my last box and looked around the empty echoing room around me.

"Andy! ANDREAA!" My mother screeched.

"I'm coming!" I yelled before I looked around one last time of my old room... or what's left of it.

I sighed one more time before taking the box down the creaky stairs. We're moving and the new house was nowhere near where we are right now. We're currently in Virginia in America and we live right in the capital, Richmond. You see, we're moving away because my dad is a wolf and my mother is a human and the pack that my dad was in completely disagreed with his choices of marrying a human even though she is his mate. I heard having a mate means you would sacrifice everything just to be with the one and only that captivates you heart.

I wish I would have a mate. Apparently, halflings don't have mates nor can we shapeshift into wolves. It's annoying because I've always wanted to change and maybe even experience the love that my parents share. Maybe one day, I could have someone I will sacrifice everything for.... Maybe.

"Have you packed everything with you sweets?" My dad grunted as he lifted the last heavy box into the taxi.

"Yup daddy" I looked back at the big old house that we lived for 19 years.

"Where's Rose?" My mother asked as she helped my little brother, Mark, with his seatbelt.

Ughhh... I pulled my phone out and called Rose.

Ring ring.... Ring ring.... Ring - "Helloo?"

"Rose we're leaving right now, where are you?" I sighed.

"Will you relax? I'm on my way" She panted.

I rolled my eyes and put my phone on silent and in my back pocket of my jeans.

Rose is my older sister. She is older than me by 5 years and she trains alot. Ohhh when I say alot I mean loaaddss of cardio, weights and pilates. She is built and tough, she also does kickboxing and judo as well.

She's 24 and swears that no man will ever be with her. I just don't know, she's always been afraid of getting hurt but it's ridiculous to fully avoid them. I, on the other hand, have been in just one relationship for 2 years with an arrogant jerk. Nolan... Ohhh it hurts to think of him.

Anyways we are off to Australia to live with another pack since the Alpha there is close friends with my dad that they are practically brothers.

We had a long flight ahead of us, I plugged in my earphones and zoned off.

Goodbye Virginia, Canberra is waiting up for us. New life, new school and new experiences.
