The phone rang. All was silent in the president's office until then. Kennedy picks up the phone with a sigh and is startled by a deep, sexy, masculine voice on the other end.
"Hello, Mr President, I'm here to discuss a few things with you." He says.
Kennedy knew this was Eisenhower. His nerves get the better of him and he struggles to find words. His love for Eisenhower is astronomical, but he always wonders if he feels the same.
"Y-yes General. Sure. Uhh.. mhm." Kennedy stutters. You could hear the nervousness behind his Massachusetts accent.
"Will you alert the neighbouring countries about-" Eisenhower is cut off by Kennedy.
"General. I'd lose my spot as President for that sexy ass." Kennedy says this as he bites his lip at the thought of it.
"D'uhhh, Mr President, sir?" Eisenhower is in shock.
Kennedy starts to panic. He is afraid of the heartbreak and the rejection he may face if Eisenhower rejects him. He quickly makes up an excuse.
"...uhh, April Fools! Haha!" Kennedy quickly spoke.
"No, I understand now. Everything makes sense, Mr President, sir." Eisenhower starts to grin behind the phone. "I have noticed the way you've been acting. The way you offer to polish my medals, the way you grab my hand every handshake, and the way you smile at me is most graceful. I must say, this has come as a shock to me, but yes, I feel the same way, Mr President, sir."
Kennedy's heart has never felt warmer. This has completely lifted all his stress and sadness, and he's happier than he's ever been at this very moment.
"I love you too, General. Come on over to my office, I'll alert security that you're coming." Said Kennedy with great relief and joy.
"That's just fine sir. Let's call that invasion off Cuba so I still have time to invade your pants." Eisenhower said as he was blushing.
They both put the phone down.
