SALEM SAID BYE TO HER class before shutting her laptop, placing her head in her hands and sighing.

this was definitely not how she expected her high school experience to come to a close, but what can you say, expect the unexpected.

she had decided to treat herself to something since she had just graduated high school, and early at that.

it was only late february but she was already considered a high school graduate.

she had been the first to graduate of her friends, but they still decided they should all have a night out together to celebrate her.

salem spent the rest of the day relaxing, marvelling over the fact four years had gone by so quickly.

she took a long shower, the heat helping relieve the headache that thinking had caused.

she ran her fingers through her long hair and sighed contently, reaching for the shampoo and lathering her head with it.

she finished with her shower and changed into some comfy clothes which she was bound to change out of the minute she left her house.

she put on some netflix in the background but mostly just went through her socials and played with her cats, beck and jade.

around 6pm she made herself some avocado toast and ate it, preparing for iris's arrival around 7.

she changed into her other clothes, the outfit she had set out from right after she showered.

iris arrived, saying they were going to meet the others at a restaurant downtown.

they left, happily chattering as iris congratulated her on graduating and expressed her envy for salem not having to deal with the annoyance of school anymore.

they called for an uber, which got there in a mere 6 minutes, and hopped in. the drive only took about 10 minutes, which was surprising considering the usually bustling traffic of downtown LA.
