잘가: Awake

“Please come back. Your world is here, just come back...”

“I'm begging you, will you please come back?”

“Don't give up. Just don't close your eyes, please...”

“Your eyes were open, but you're seeing a different world.”

“P-Please come back now. Open up your mind and live up with reality. I... I'm begging you.”

This was multiple whispers from Stan's mom when he was unconscious.

Stan walked down the hallway in a wheelchair with a nurse assisting him. It's his time to go home after staying in the hospital for almost two months. He is taking medications and just finish a successful operation.

Stan Park is schizophrenic, he's already suffering from that disorder for almost a year.

If it weren't because of the medications and the operation, his situation would gone bad. He might die, but his family and loved ones never gave up, and he's now perfectly fine.

Indeed, he hallucinated things. Him losing someone, is just pure imagination.

There's no Sean. He didn't exist in his world.

In that imagination of his, Sean was schizophrenic, but little did he know, it was just a reflection of his situation.

There's no Sean.

Sean isn't the one seeing butterflies, but it was him.

It wasn't Sean who almost killed himself, it was him. He's actually suffering but unlike Sean, Stan has his family with him.

After the operation, Sean was already removed from Stan's mind. He's now living with reality and facing the real world. Memories with Sean already vanished inside his mind.

Now, he knows that there is no Sean. He's fighting for no one in his mind. He doesn't exist in the real world.

“Sir, I'll leave you here for the moment. I'll just call your mom.” The nurse muttered, so Stan just nodded while looking at the view in front of him.

It looks like he's in front of the garden of the hospital, green grasses and some benches. The corner of his lips raised when he saw some people playing around.

He now saw the real world. He won't be lock up with his hallucinations and the white room, alone.

“So this is now the real world.” He muttered underneath his breath. He fixed his hair while clasping his hands together.

“The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?”

He suddenly heard a voice from the back of his mind, but he chose to shrug it off. He firmly close his eyes as he feel the air greeting his senses. It was so fresh and he felt so free.

When he opened his eyes, he saw someone standing in front of him. He was cute, looking so cheerful and bubbly. Like Stan, he's also wearing a hospital gown, indicating he's also a patient in here.

Stan looked at him in confusion, but the latter was just smiling. He offered his hands at Stan, extending and expecting for a handshake. Stan's forehead knotted while looking at him and at his hands.

“Don't you know how to handshake?” That someone asked with a sassy tone. Stan chuckled before looking away and accepting his hands.

“I thought you're an alien.” He laughed. Stan felt deja vu for an unknown reason while holding his hands and listening to his laugh. He was also smiling while looking at him.

“I'm not an alien. I'm Stan Park by the way.”

The guy pulled his hands away and stared at Stan's eyes before smiling again. He has this cute cheeks and foxy eyes.

Stan felt like he already heard that laugh of his. He felt like he already held his hands back then, but he can't remember.

“I'm Sean Kim.”
