I wake up to the smell of eggs and bacon. and, pancakes?

Knock. Knock. "Come in," I said still trying to wake myself up.

"Still tired?" asked a voice I knew the voice but it was impossible.

"Dad?" I blinked and finally noticed where I actually was. The room was completely white. with a bright light shining from the window.

He smiled "Your mother was wrong."

"What?"

"Your mother said that you wouldn't have noticed the voice because we have been gone for so long." he came and sat down in front of me.

"That's not true I'd never forget you guys. And why am I here? And where is here exactly?" I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back and brought me into a bear hug. It lasted for a while but I'm not complaining I miss my parents very much and I'd do anything to see them again.

"Don't," he said looking down at me.

I pulled away "Don't what?"

"Don't think like that."

"Don't think like what?"

"You don't have to give anything to see us." He looked out the window. "Do you remember the promise we made you when you were little, about always being here for you no matter if death due us part?" I nodded "Well your mother is concerned so I came to talk to you."

"Am I dreaming? If I'm dreaming this is gonna hurt when I wake up? Are you really here to help me?" I looked out the window "And if this is real, why hasn't this happened before. I went through hell and never saw you once."

He nodded "And we were there. Helping you." I tilted my head to that one "Your mother helped you feel like you could. And look you did." he smiled and gave me a hug across my shoulders. "Come with me. I want you to meet someone."

He stood up helping me and walked with me I noticed I was wearing flux plants and a pleather crop top all black. We walked till these giant golden doors appeared. They started to open as were got closer and closer. Once we were on the other side they shut faster than they had opened. I have a feeling I'm going to meet some people that are like me, and to be honest I'm not in the mood for this.

"Well. Well. Well." said a dark, low voice. A male's voice and he was leaned against one of the columns, which I hadn't noticed until now. "She's prettier than described. I wonder if she knows how to fight. I'd like to have a new field partner." The male stood up and bowed.

"Max, you are not permitted to speak to her or about her in such a rude manner," my father scolded him. I stopped dead in my tracks to see this person get down on one knee and lower their head.

"I'm sorry Lord H., I was out of line and deserve any punishment you chose fitted."

My father raised his hand "Wait." I looked at the person who knelt before my father.

My father lowered his hand and looked at me "What?"

"Don't," I replied sternly.

"Why not? You don't any respect around here until you show authority." he narrowed his eyes at me. "You need to learn that."

"And you need to learn how to care for people that are lower than you and respect what is higher than you." I looked at my father. I heard gasps coming from around the room. "You act so toughly but in the end, you cower behind something or someone and hope nobody finds you. Just like all evil bastards." Max gasps knocking himself off his feet trying to put distance between us and him. He was terrified.
