I opened my eyes and yawned. Good morning pinkness! I sat up and stretched. A large smile was plastered on my face - a thing very unusual for a girl like me. Today was my 18th birthday and my mom promised I won't be forced to wear another stupid pinky, girly, poofy dress only if I stayed near home for college. Today, will be different. I'm an older woman and today I will be able to do - almost - whatever I want. I'm thinking of getting a tatoo... A knock lightly padded on my door. "Come in." I groaned. My youngest sister, Emily, appeared at the door, gripping a pink cake.
"Don't you look lovely today, sis! With your... non-pink PJs!" She said non-pink in disgust, staring at my dark blue and grey sweats. I rolled my eyes.
"Thanks for the pink cake." I muttered. She smiled brightly.
"Go!" Brianna, my second youngest sister snapped from behind her. She pushed Emily and sent her toppling to the ground, smashing her face right into the cake, revealing it's chocolaty goodness. I burst out laughing as Emily held up her head, the cake ruining her make-up. She got up and wiped her face, and her cupped hand - filled with cake - accidentaly smashed onto Brianna's face. She screamed and glared through all the icing.
"Food fight!" I screamed and they both glanced at me. I shrugged, them following and Brianna grabbed the WHOLE smashed cake and threw it at Emily who had finally got up, but she ducked and the cake came flying to me. I gasped as the yummy goodness crushed into my face. It fell onto my bed with a splat and I glared at Brianna.
"Uh oh!" She gasped and ran out of the room.
"Oh it's on like donkey kong!" I grabbed the cake and dashed after the girls. We were screaming throughout the whole mansion. Finally we entered the kitchen and dashed around my cooking mom. She grabbed the cake out of my hands skillfully - not even getting the tiniest mark of icing on her bright pink apron. We stopped and she just laughed at us.
"What are you doing?" She chuckled.
"Stuff..." I jumped on a bar stool. She laughed.
"Ya know, you guys intrest me so much." She said, more to herself and tossed a pancake onto a plate, along with a wet rag to wipe my face. "Girls, it's still Monday, it's not any different from any other day so I want you all to get dressed after breakfast." I groaned, wiping my face lightly.
"And I don't have to wear pink??" I pepped up. She sighed but nodded. "Yes!!" I exclaimed and dumped a puddle of syrup onto my three pancakes. While I stuffed my motuh and used only my fingers, my sisters delicately cut their pancakes and lightly dipped it in syrup, then gracefully placed the pancakes into their mouth with a fork. I chuckled. "You don't have to be so polite. It's a birthday order." I warned, my mouth full with pancake. They looked at each other and grimaced. "Drop 'em." I stared at them with a raised eyebrow. Brianna sighed and carefully placed her fork down, along with Emily.
"So we just..." Emily looked at me with pleading eyes. I nodded.
"Yup!" I popped the 'p'. She sighed and picked up a pancake with her pinky raised. She barely bit the thing. I rolled my eyes.
