Brutal Fate

Authors Note: The story is told from the readers view unless stated at the beginning of that chapter. 

 Meeting him was never suppose to end up with a relationship. Let alone one I have to hide. Atsumu Miya surely knows how to drive a girl insane in both annoyance and admiration. Our story is surely one that comes off as though it was a Shoujo anime. Not anything I was expecting. 

Let me explain how this all ended up where it is, me and Atsumu dating and actually making it work. 

I been at Inarizaki for about half our first semester, and I somehow made my chance to be Captain of the girls soccer team. Coach said I showed a lot of confidence and leadership but honestly I think it's because I'm pretty amazing. I've been doing this since I was 6 there's no way my skills could ever fail me. Many say i'm full of myself but I think I just know my own level. 

It's basically my job to set everything up for practice. The only bad part, every things locked up in the boys volleyball gym and I can only go into the gym when they're in the middle of practicing. Kita~san is nice, he offers to send some of the guys to help but I always refuse to interrupt their practice. 

Today I walked into the gym not really expecting the guys to be taking a break from practice. Kita~san walked over offering to help me take the equipment since they were all on a break.

"It's fine you don't ha--" and then the gray haired twin cuts me off, "we'll happily help you, we got nothing else going on and a pretty girl shouldn't do this all on her own", the boy said without even an ounce of emotion on his face. Unable to get anymore words out, the two boys started to drag out all the equipment, y/n watched in awe trying to help but the two couldn't seem to take your objections. 

The team had been staring, watching both a flustered Kita and the more so laid back twin carry out everything the soccer team needed. "Oh wow Samu, never thought you'd be a simp." Atsumu, the blonde haired twin told his brother as Osamu walked back over to the team. "Shut up Tsumu, I'm just being nice." 

"Thank you both, you didn't have to help", Y/n said to Kita and Osamu, her face turning red from Atsumu's comment. She'd be lying if she said she didn't find Kita nor Osamu attractive. "I should get back to the field and let you guys practice!" With that the girl ran out the gym in a hurry to compose herself. 

*After practice* 

Y/N walked back into the gym with the equipment to return it. She expected the boys all to be gone, which most were. The one exception being Atsumu Miya. He was walking out the boys locker room, his hair damp from the shower. He was in charge of making sure the gym got locked up after Y/N brought the equipment back. 

"Oh hey, it's about time. I want to go home." Atsumu said as he watched her walk into the storage room. He got an idea, why not mess with her since she had him leaving late. Walking into the storage room after her, he shuts the door blocking it. 

"What do you think you're doing Miya?" 

"Wasting your time, how I wasted mine waiting for you." 

Y/N didn't like his attitude. Quite frankly she didn't get along with guys like him, over confident, and fully absorbed with themselves. This moment, reminded her of Oikawa, he couldn't handle a girl not being into him. "Okay, look this game isn't cute. I just want to go home. I'm sure you do too, Miya." 

Thinking to herself, reminding herself of her old school, old friends. Mainly, Oikawa. Atsumu and Oikawa were both cocky, and very prideful. The only difference, Oikawa worked hard for his skill, Atsumu was just naturally amazing. 

"Oh stop being so boring, you're in a room with this great guy that any girl would die to have." Atsumu moved closer to her, pushing her against the shelves. 

Just before Atsumu could lean down to her level, Y/N punched him in the stomach. "I hate pretty boys like you. Just get out my way jeez." She moved from around him and went on her way. Getting away from Atsumu as quickly as possible. 

On her way out the gym, Atsumu chases after her in complete confusion as to how a girl could completely ignore him and not beg for his attention like his other fangirls. He admits he gets kind of annoyed with it. He tries his best to be polite with them and not to let his thoughts slip out, he's just not used to a girl not being into him like the rest. 

Y/N makes her way out the gym running as fast as she can as soon as she leaves the gym doors. Atsumu left stunned and watching her get away from him.
