Days POV.
"It's been a long day"
I let out as I shut my door and looked in the mirror across the room and slowly walked towards it, examining my face and body.
One eye bloodshot and bruised and the other expressing a cold stare. My body was covered in scars, old and new causing me to contemplate on how I allowed myself to get here. I felt worthless and stupid how could I put someone above myself waiting to get saved. I need to save myself but there was so much fear in my body towards her. I put my stuff down trying not to think about what just went down.
Shutting my mind off I laid down and lit up the blunt in my dresser, laying my head on the pillow until I fell asleep.
My alarm woke me up at 7:00am
I got up and headed straight to the shower, doing my hygiene and putting on a simple fit cus I was just tryna be comfortable. I grabbed some sunglasses off the dresser too and started walking to my all black Jeep. At least she wouldn't be at school since she already graduated.
I was already late because I spent extra time crying in the shower. It's the only place I let myself cry.
Walking into the school I looked at my schedule and started to walk to class when I heard a loud bang that startled me and some stud bumped into me knocking off my glasses.
I quickly picked them up and put them back on while she stared at me.
"Wassup ma" she tried to catch my attention.
"Don't call me dat" I said blandly without looking up.
"Look at me when I speak" who does she think she is. I have her a cold stare as I got up with the rest of my books in my hand, turned around and walked away.
And of course she followed me.
"Holdup my bad for bumping into you you're just mad beautiful I kind of zoned out" she said calmly.
"It's alright don't trip" I answered continuing to walk.
"I'm Asia by the way. What happened to your face?" She asked curiously.
"Nothing I got in a fight" I said blankly knowing it sounded like a lie.
"I don't believe you but ok. You gon tell me your name?" She asked.
"Call me Day" I replied.
"Nice to meet you Day I'm a new student here you think you could direct me to my class?" She asked me nicely. I was irritated with her.
"Let me see your schedule" I said putting my hand out.
She handed it to me without saying anything.
I scanned it and realized we had ALL our classes together. This is gonna be a long year.
I handed it back to her.
"Soo?" She said confused.
"We have all the same classes so ig u can just follow me today" I said causing her to instantly give me a smirk.
I guess she was kind of cute.
"Kind of?" She gasped.
"I didn't mean to say that out loud" I mentally clowned on myself.
"It's alright ma I kno I'm cute you don't gotta tell me" she said smiling.
"I told you not to call me that" I just shook my head and walked into class taking my seat.
