❝i mean he's not wrong.❞ sicheng let out a chuckle as he quietly thanked his hairstylist before facing the young celebrity to continue. ❝if you want a boyfriend, get yourself a jung sungchan.❞

❝don't remind me, please.❞ letting out a groan, shotaro lowered his head and buried it down to the palm of his hands. ❝this is so embarrassing.❞

definitely. but hey, at least they managed to join forces when they were aggressively explaining it to all of them as to how they got into an argument— or basically it was just sungchan embarrassing himself.

they were in the middle of a photoshoot with the artists inside the company, the so-called family picture which the japanese actor had finally managed to convince the ceo that they should take. as annoyed as doyoung seemed when agreeing to this, in the end, he carried on with the plan and successfully had aligned each of his artists' schedule. it has been a while since they have changed their company's portrait that's why the ceo himself didn't turn down that idea even though he knows how tiring preparing all of this can get.

and as each of them were given time for individual shots, shotaro was waiting patiently by the chairs provided after getting his hair and make up done. the chinese actor joined next to him not long after.

sure, they were able to get through that mortifying night, but someone just had to remind the young celebrity about it. sicheng then let out a laugh, not being able to forget the sight they have all witnessed. ❝what happened? you rarely get upset, but sungchan managed to make you.❞

puffing his cheeks, the frustration got back to him. ❝he was getting all sweet and clingy to donghyuck.❞

❝oh,❞ a soft chuckle was heard from the chinese actor. ❝so, you were jealous?❞

❝it's not that i was jealous,❞ well, yes, he did felt a tad bit of jealousy watching his soulmate be suspiciously sweet and nice to others. however, you don't hear shotaro admit to that. looks like as someone so pure like him, he also has some pride left. ❝but he admitted that he purposely did that because i was also being close to moonbin and juyeon! when in fact, they are my friends and that's how i normally treat them.❞

raising his brow up, sicheng gave the younger a look as if he was forcing the truth out of him.

❝okay, fine!❞ which he succeeded in doing so, shotaro sucks at lying anyways. it was a nice try though, he almost got away with it. ❝maybe i was also purposely being clingy to them, but you can't blame me. that bambi suddenly let donghyuck tag along, i didn't even know he was at the same restaurant.❞

honestly, sicheng felt bad that the young japanese was confusing himself, he was also thinking too much over something so simple. the celebrity was making a big deal of a problem that's not that complicated to understand to begin with. but seeing him rant while looking like an upset baby, the chinese can't hold back a smile seeing that the younger wasn't keeping what he's feeling all to himself and is actually showing it.
