Chapter-7

Now all were seated, laughing and talking with each other. Nisha could see how happy her parents were by this marriage and how well her father and uncle bonded. They had a shine in their eyes that she was happy to see. On the other hand, the ladies were also busy in the future talks and there was a happy atmosphere in the house. 

To her utter surprise Adi was also laughing and talking with Kartik and they seem to be nice to each other, all were busy but she could point out a change in Abhi, he was busy talking on his phone as an important call, but his voice sounded distant. After a few minutes, he was back and glanced at Naina who was talking with Kartik, and he was happy to see his brother happy with Naina. He had that happiness and excitement within him that was missing after the incident.

" so now that the kids have liked each other, I think we should talk about the further step?" Shailesh said in a soft manner and all the members looked at the couple.

Naina immediately got stiffened hearing this and both Adi and Abhi sensed it. " Umm...dad if you don't mind we would like to know us more," Abhi said and Aditiya also agreed with it. He didn't want his sister to be in any kind of rush and he also wanted some talks with Abhi.

Both Nivedita and Sonali laughed at this. " don't worry child, we are not making you both marry tomorrow, we will take it in a slow but steady manner, what say Karan?" Shailesh asked Karan and he also agreed.

" But we should at least we should have the roka done?" Nivedita said excitedly " I am very eager to make Naina my daughter Sonali Ji don't get me wrong," she said in a polite manner and everybody smiled at this.

" Nahi, nahi bhabhi Ji aisa kuch nahi hai( no, no it's nothing like that)" Sonali said. Naina was also touched by her words, they were treating her like a daughter only and she happy.

Abhi: mom, we will talk about this later.

All the elders agreed and then took their leave. Nivedita hugged Naina and Shailesh patted her head and blessed her. Abhi and Kartik also touched her parents' feet and shared a manly hug with Aditiya and started walking out.

Abhi glanced at her secretly and saw her seeing him too. Both of them shared eye contact and then Abhi went too.

When all of them left Naina looked down as her parents were looking at her while smiling. Finally, Sonali took her in her embrace and Karan also joined her and hugged her and kissed her forehead, all of them extended their arms and Adi came too and patted her head.

Naina's Pov

It was night time and I was looking at the sky and thinking about today's events. It all happened so fast and felt so unreal, she was going to marry soon and couldn't believe it. 

Adi: how was your meeting with him doll?

Naina: oh bhai when did you come? you have become really secretive huh, I wonder if you really know magic? seriously how did you know that I was at the terrace?

Adi just laughed and shook his head and sat beside her

"It's my brother's instincts and that magic only that I know I will find you here looking at the sky, thinking about today. So now tell me how was your talk?"

Naina: it was good, the way I felt before and the way I felt after are completely different. Like before meeting them, I had all kinds of negative stuff coming to my mind but after it and when I think of it right now, I feel that it was not what I was thinking. They are very nice people and you know bhai I saw the way papa's eyes shined when I said yes, not for once I felt uncomfortable with them.
