Ashton's POV
Hey, the name's Ashton. I'm the Alpha of the Blue Moon pack. former Alpha of the Rising sun. Sometimes my mind will wander to my old pack and to Kylie. She was the only reason I really stayed at that pack. I loved that little girl like a daughter and I would've done anything to protect her. To be honest I don't know why I left. I just felt like I couldn't be Alpha anymore Sure she had her parents but they were never really parents to her. Tyler was all the family she ever had.
-Alpha, there's a rouge on the Territory that's refusing to shift.- I was pulled away from my thoughts by Tony, my Beta mind-linking me and I was out the door faster than you can say "Wolf".
I got to the site of the rouge and it was to my surprise a Pure White she-wolf with Emerald Eyes. I saw Tony about to command her to shift again but I called him and everyone else off.
"Hello, I am the Alpha of the Blue Moon pack. My name is Ashton, my pack and I do not want any trouble so if you could tell us your name I can help you." I told her. Her eyes softened and glistened, almost looking like tears. She walked over to me slowly, as if to see if I was who I said I was. When she got to me and I did nothing she nuzzled my stomach, every now and again letting out soft whimpers, giving the impression that the human inside was crying. After that she went beind a tree and shifted. When she came out I found that I was right. suddenlly I'm engulfed in a hug and I have a sobbing 16 year-old mess of a girl in my arms.
"Ashton. I can't beleive it's you, i'd recognize that scent anywhere, Vanilla and Apple. It's me, your little Kylie." she mumbled. I gasped and pulled back to look her in the eyes.
"Kylie? As in Kylie Kuran?" I asked. Praying to the Moon Goddess that it was. When she nodded I smiled and gave her a bear hug,
"K-Kylie? Is that really you?" I heard Tony ask from behind me. Oh right I forgot he was here. Kylie looked behind me and gasped. She pulled out of my arms and walked over to him.
"T-Tony?" She asked and he nodded. Smiling she let out a choked sob and hugged him.
"I missed you little sister. Happy Birthday, I'm so sorry about Tyler. He'd be so proud of you." Tony whispered in her ear,
"I'm the one who should be sorry. He died protecting me from Skylar." She said, wiping her tears. Only to have more replace them. I walked over and put my hand on her shoulder.
"You listen here and you listen good young lady. You are not to blame, if anyone is to blame it would be me. I ran from the fight that day. I couldn't bear it and I couldn't stand face to face with you anymore. My best friend died because of MY stupidity. I knew the attack was coming and my arogance got in the way of my better judgment. I'm soo sorry Kylie. I never meant for it to happen, I never meant for any of it to happen." I said, gently stroking her head. She turned around and hugged me.
"Ashton, please don't send me home. I can't stand it there. Please, I wanna stay with you and Tony. You guys are my real family." She pleaded. I took one lookinto those eyes and I couldn't say no. I sighed,
"Ok fine you can come live with me as my adoptive daughter. Unfortunatlly my pack doesnt take well with rouges joining without good reason. I would let you live with Tony as the Beta family but this is the only way I can make sure you're safe. Before you ask they only let me in because they needed an Alpha and I came along soooo. Here I am." I told her. She nodded and hugged me.
"Thank you Ashton." she said
"Your welcome Kylie."I told her and started to lead her away.
'This is gonna be interesting.' I thought to myself as we walked.

Welp here's chapter 2. True I have been neglecting this story on wattpad but I have the full intention of starting it back up again. Get ready for a completly improvised next chapter because my stupid brain decided to crap out on me and go way past the point at which I wanted to stop. Also the picture is of Tony.
