First day of school

Riley's pov

I woke up this morning in a bad mood, because my youngest sister Ava had switched my usual Call Me Maybe song to What Does The Fox Say. I rolled out of bed and onto the floor when it started the eh-eh-ehs. After that, I did my normal morning routine and got dressed (not that getting dressed isn't part of my morning routine, but, yeah...). I got my backpack on and went downstairs to get a apple before we left.

Before I could get my apple, Kitty came into the kitchen and told me, "Get in the car, you don't want to be late. I'm sorry, but I don't know who you got as your buddy.-" "I don't care that much, but can you fix my hair before we go?" I asked, while reaching for my hair tye's on my wrist. She nodded, and I came over to her and turned around so that she was facing my hair. I don't have the same hair (AT ALL) as my sister, my hair is also blonde but goes down to just about my butt, and also has pink stripes going through it. She began to french braid it, which made me insaanely happy. I love it when she braids my hair, because somehow she makes it stay, so I don't have to fuss around with it all day. When Kitty was done, we both went out to the car.

As we got in the car, Kitty asked me a question that is totally reasonable but also totally annoying. The 'do you know anyone at school' question. I answered back with a snarky comment that filled the rest of the car ride with a awkward silence. As soon as we got to school, I propelled myself out of the car and to the lady I had met at the middle school picnic. "Hello, Mrs.Wilde. You should go to the gymnasium and sit on the floor, we will be having a assembly with the high school students about your names and how to act if presented with the opportunity to speak with one another." Mrs.Landberg told me. "Thank you, ma'am." I said, politely. I raced to the gym, and sat next to a girl who looked to me like a 7th grader. "Hi. My names Riley, and I'm in 7th grade." I told her. "My names Faith. I am also in 7th grade. If you look behind you, you can see the boys. RIght now, they are trying to drink apple juice up their noses." Faith told me. We continued on a conversation throughout the entire assembly.

I was paired up with a girl named Santana Lopez, but didn't really see her the entire day.

The day passed by in a blur, and before long school was out. On my way out, I was slammed into the lockers...

A/N: I know that it's not a lot, but I want to see if people like the general idea of the story before I continue. Just so that I don't get my hopes up, and also because I would like to know if I'm a horrible writer before I continue.

Facts about me:

My names Rae.

I 'm twelve, and in 7th grade.

I follow ALOT of people on Wattpad, and somehow have gotten a lot myself. I have read Demi Lovato fanfics (fanfiction) where I click on people photo to follow them, and realize I am following ever person who has commented through the ENTIRE book.

Comment please, I like feedbacl.
