HALLWAY/FIGGINS' OFFICE
That morning as Kelly and Will were walking into the school, Figgins had joined the two Schuesters and gave them some terrible news.
Kelly: "This isn't fair."
Figgins: "Is it fair that I had to stop providing the baseball team with protective cups? I only get a certain amount of dollars a year to spend, Junior Schue."
Will: "Yeah, but Artie is—"
Figgins: "Is used to overcoming challenges. He'll just have to find his own ride to Sectionals. That handi-capable bus costs $600 a week to rent. We can't afford it." he tells the two as they all begin to walk into the principal's office.
Will: "Oh, but there's enough money in the budget to fly the Cheerios all over the country for their competitions?"
Figgins: "Sue Sylvester has boosters that write fat checks. None of her travel expenses come out of the school budget."
Kelly: "What if we use some of the Thunderclap's budget? We never use it all." she suggests.
Figgins: "No. Yearbook gets their budget and Glee Club get theirs. No siphoning from each other budgets."
Kelly: "Does Glee even get a budget?" she scoffs.
Will: "Look," he starts off trying to defuse the tension between his teenage daughter and his boss, "when I was in the Glee Club, the best part of the competitions was the bus ride to the event. It was about camaraderie and supporting each other."
Figgins: "You think I feel good about this?"
Kelly: "Well, we won't stand for this."
Figgins: "That's very moving, but my hands are tied, Schues. If you want that bus, you're going to have to find a way to pay for it yourself." he tells them causing the father and daughter duo to sigh.

CHOIR ROOM
The New Directions were sitting on the risers waiting for Will. As they were waiting, Tina was watching Artie struggle to tie his shoelaces while Quinn and Finn were talking about the baby. While Kelly was waiting she was going over yearbook picture schedules since picture days were getting closer and closer.
Quinn: "What about Target?"
Finn: "Tried. Not hiring."
Quinn: "Another doctor bill came to my parents' house last night, Finn. We're lucky that I'm clever and intercepted it. But we have to start paying these doctor's bills or they're going to go to a collection agency and then my parents are going to find out that I'm with child. Your child." she tells him before Will walks in and starts handing out sheet music.
