The kunai hits home, making the strange blond boy before me cry out with pain as I dart up the side of the tree. I push off, and boosting my chakra, weave handsigns as fast as I can. I am not afraid of pain, and this boy is ready to feel it. His smirk tells me he has yet to atone for his wrongdoings. My fury attempts to flicker to life, but it is smothered beneath the coolness of my lack of feeling. His bombs come toward me. I allow lightening to flicker to life, racing down my skin and leaping to meet the bombs. I land lightly on a tree branch. His earth style is no match for my lightening.
I suck in a breath and release my jutsu on him. "Lightening Style." I say flatly. "Ropes of Thunder." My lightening binds the young ninja to himself, negating his ability to use his earth style jutsus. I smile to myself and land before him, then, I replace myself with a clone. The boy before me turns into a cloud of smoke and the real one comes out, throwing shiruken at my clone. My clone catches it and throws it back furiously.
The real blond gasps and blood trickles from his mouth as the shiruken pins him to the tree. His head is between two very sharp blades, and the sword I'd taken from his bores through his stomach. My clone hasn't even broken a sweat. "That's enough!" booms the Akatsuki leader. He places a hand on my clone, who disappears in a shower of sparks. His eyes narrow as he looks for me.
"Universal Pull." He says, pulling a hand out. I shove chakra into my feet, but it alerts him to my presence. I have been too hasty. I could've lasted another second or two. He glares in my direction, and I leap out of the tree silently, landing on my feet. "You did not use your kekkei genkai." I shake my head to affirm his statement.
"No. I did not." I say when he narrows his eyes.
"Why?" He grounds out, hands twitching in the effort to not hit me. I see the anger in his eyes. I have shown him up and disobeyed him.
"I did not need it with someone of his level." The blond gives out an enraged yell. "No offense." I say, looking at him. "You are what, chunin? I'm ANBU." The blond shuts up instantly, his anger receeding. I look back to Pein.
"Do you want to see my kekkei genkai in action?" I ask softly. Pein narrows his eyes. "Very well." I yank the giant shiruken from the tree, keeping it clear of the blond's throat. I tug off my jacket, revealing my blackless shirt that closes around my waist. My hair rests comfortably against my back and I take off my mask, eyes glued to the grass below my feet.
"Tell me your levels." He states. "You 'll show them to me in the order I wish to see." I nod quietly.
"Half-Demon, Demon, Half-Angel, Angel, Fallen Angel." I say, rattling them off in order. "That's from weakest to strongest."
"Fallen Angel? I've never heard of a Tenshi with an ability like that." Pein says skeptically. I laugh.
"That's because I am its creator." I reply, raising my eyes so that they are level with his throat. "Nobody has gone as far as I have." Pein's lips quirk into something akin to a smug smile as he orders the blond to stand back. "I have affected you even without activating the kekkei genkai."
"Begin with Half-Demon." He says, stepping back. I feel uncomfortable under the close scrutiny of the Akatsuki members. I stare straight past all of the Akatsuki members and push my mask away with my foot. "Now, Chishi!" I snarl furiously.
"Demonic Angel, " I whisper, "Half-Demon Mode." My wings burst through my skin, forcing me to double over in pain as they stretch, unaccustomed to the free movement I am allowing them. I usually keep my kekkei genkai under warps. I don't want to overuse it or something. It would be no good if my fighting style was whispered from enemy to enemy.
My canines sharpen to dull points, and my white hair becomes black. My eyes darken to a deep, dark red. I laugh cruelly, raising my head and stretching my wings to show the dark silver feathers that come with this mode. "Demon Mode." Pein says, nodding with approval. My inner demon laughs. I make the handsigns quickly again.
