Frantically, Ria ran to Caramba. "Please tell me that it was just a misfire!" Caramba shook his head. "No, the engine is clogged!" Ria suddenly turned around when she heard a scream. The mermaid had almost reached them. Ria finally had enough, and she gave Calabrass to Cece. "Guardians of the Storm and the Wind! Give me your strength!" With a flash of lightning, she first kept the mermaid from her body. After that, she ordered Caramba "Go down to the engine room and give me a sign if I can fire." During the time Caramba worked, the others tried to get rid of the robot zombies. "It's going to be tight. Caramba, how long do you need?" "Just a little moment longer!" The zombies circled them. "Caramba!" "All right! Fire free!" Ria put the Chaos on full power and the engine ran flawlessly again. With full force, they made their way to Marituga. "Phew, that was close..." Crogar moaned. "Now we have at least a small chance to save Zak."
As soon as the Chaos had set in, the crew stormed through Marituga's streets. "Sorry, this is a real emergency!" Completely out of breath, they reached Sassafrass. "We have the ingredients, but we don't have much time." The old witch mixed the three ingredients together according to the recipe. "The scales of a mermaid... Tears of the Weeping Willow and the rarest flower in all of Vapir, the Dark Rose. How did you get hold of these things?" "We... have unimagined talents." The cure was within reach, but Sassafrass paused. "Hmmm, that's very strange..." "What?! What's wrong now?!" Sassafrass looked up. "You've forgotten something." Buried dead, Ria stared at the witch. "How have we forgotten something? These are all the ingredients!" "No, the last ingredient is... an act of true pain." Ria slapped her hand to her head. "Please tell me this is a bad joke." Sassafrass raised her index finger. "You have to find out for yourself." Ria leaned over the cauldron, and saw her reflection. "Zak is lost. I didn't manage to save him and broke my promise. I was too weak. Forgive me, Zak, please, forgive me." A small tear fell into the broth and lit up. "What is it?" "Ria has let out her frustration, which is in the tear. It's done!" Cece gratefully accepted the vial. "We are deeply in your debt, Sassafrass." Slowly, the sun sank into the sea. "When the sun goes down, it's too late."
They reached the cabin in record time. Ria was close to tears when she saw Zak. The sight was simply atrocious. "Ria, fast! The sun is going down!" She lifted Zak's head slightly, the liquid disappeared into his throat shortly after the sun sank on the horizon. "Please Zak, don't do this to me any further, please fight, I'll tell you that you're going to kill us all with it if you keep on torturing us." Caramba scanned Zak, but then sadly lowered his arms. "Caramba?" "He doesn't have a chance, his heart isn't beating anymore..." "No, that can't be, it has to work! Please come back to me!" Crying, Ria buried her head on Zak's arm. "We are too late..."

Ok, so this little message isn't actually part of the actual book, but I just wanted to do it on here, 'cause quite frankly, I probably won't have enough space to say everything that I want to say on an announcement, so we're doing it here!
I apologise in advance for my really long absence, and I cannot apologise enough to you, @xDark_Ninjax, for my MASSIVELY LONG delay in translating your tetralogy! I... well, I don't really have an excuse to be honest, I've just been bored, and the only thing I could really do was watch Netflix and YouTube, because, with the Tier systems at the start of the year, and we've just had Lockdown 3.0 in England, I haven't been bothered to do anything else. Plus, I've had revision for my GCSE Exams, well... my teachers claim they're not Exams, because loads of other factors go into our grades this year, and it doesn't all rely on the Exams like previous years, but... I don't even really understand it myself what's properly happening with our grades and everything, so I'm not even gonna try and explain it (But if I pass Maths, I probably won't shut up about it for the rest of the year, because at this rate, I'm probably not, and the evidence we need for our grades has already been submitted I think, so... that's really fun!).
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, I'm really sorry, and as an apology to everyone, my Exams are finished, the evidence is being submitted, and I'm stuck doing a crappy NCS thing in school for the next two weeks (apart from my 6th Form Taster Sessions on Monday, which I'm excited for - I'm doing History, Geography, and Sociology), I will be updating more! Thank you again for all of your patience, and sticking with me during my forever-failing uploading grind. Have a great day! (Or night... whenever you're reading this!)
