I rush into the bathroom to hide my blushing face. She goes into the bathroom, too. Crap, hide, hide, hide!
"I didn't mean to scare you, Jess," she calls. I'm heavily breathing. I open the stall in embarrassment. I look at my shoes.
She said that I have kissable lips, I mean, that's pretty scary. But why to me? I'm not gay. Am I? And I don't like her.
"I kind of like you," Max says. "Wait really?" I say loudly. "I was just joking, actually. Please don't make it weird. I'm sorry." Max says.

I waltz out of school like an idiot forgetting about Max. Max rushes out of the school like a maniac yelling for me. "Jessica wait! Wanna walk home together?" She asks running up to me.
I swivel around. "Why?" I ask. "Oh, I don't know, we have been besties for 5 years now, and we still haven't walked together," She says. Oh, right. We continue to say we're going to, but we never do. "Sure. I have nothing better to do, I guess." I reply. Her eyes light up. "Awesome! Come on, lets go, loser." She jokes.
We start walking to our houses, talking about school and homework. We laugh about Mr. Jacob being young as frick and kind of hot. We get to her house. I can't hold back my words. "What's your sexuality?" I ask.
She looks at me about to go in, "I was joking today," she says awkwardly. "But, I asked a question." I say a little harsh. She blinks and sighs. Her stare is more 'I'm lost' than 'what are you doing?' kind of stare. "I'm bisexual, why?" She asks. "I don't know. Is it bad to like girls?" I ask. She walks closer to me. "No, never. Its okay, no matter what your parents say." She says. "Well, bye." I say needing to get out of this situation. "Bye." She says and jogs into her house.
