Similarities between characters that i've noticed

Rick and Bojack

Rick from Rick and Morty
Bojack from Bojack Horseman

Both of them has did something to rig they're closest friend/grandson to not leave because of abandonment issues.
Both of them get drunk a lot.
They're both narcissistic and self destructive.

I'm not sure of anything else, also they both have had sex a lot in the past.
I just really wanna focus on the one really similar thing
Bojack rigged Tod from getting a career that could've started to help him.
Rick rigged Morty from having interest in the actual thing he wrote, basically Rick put that into his mind as I know.
The most of the difference is that Todd found out, as Morty can't really figure it out.
That shows their abandonment issues.
