Chapter Eleven

{I've changed around some of the teams I hope you don't mind.}

Bree's POV

We were put onto teams. Vara was on Bakugo's team, and I was on Shoto's team. They were all huddled together, I think they were making a game plan, but Bakugo was doing the complete opposite of them. While Bakugo was yelling, I look over to their team and look at Vara. She was unwrapping her hands/forearms. My eyes went wide. What the hell is she doing?! "Oi dumbass! Are you playing attention?!" Bakugo says well slightly yells. "Yeah, it's just that Vara's unwrapping her hands and arms." My whole group looked at me. Confused as hell, they also all looked at her. They all saw her hands and forearms for the first time. Her hands looked soft and bruised. Her left hand gently caressing the marks on right forearm. Her team had a reaction as if they were looking at a million dollars. Denki started saying something that make Vara embarrassed, she laughed and moved hair out of her face. She looked over to my team, she unzipped her jacket some. "AHHH VARA BUT YOUR BOOBS!" Denki yells covers his eyes, Vara says "Sports bra Denki!! STOP LOOKING YOU EMBODIMENT OF A FUCKING LIGHTNING STORM!!" Vara's other teammates start laughing. Next thing we know it was time to start the next round, Cavalry Battle.  The last thing I hear from Vara's lips are "one million on Izuku, are you sure you can do it?" There was a laugh "don't worry!"

Third person POV

The round was now starting. Vara stuck close to Izuku to keep watch of him. "Ready?" Denki asks Vara while he walks past. "Not at all! Last time you'll ever see it again. I swear Denki." He gives her an understanding nod. "I have to get that one million off of Deku!" Bakugo yells and Bree looks back while she's making a slight dome shape out of matter to block Denki's electricity. "Is that really what you think about?! KATSUKI FUCKING BAKUGO!" Bakugo was going at it. Explosion after explosion. "You sound like my hag of a mother." He says bluntly and continues. "Fuck you..." Bree mumbles under her breath, she rolls her eyes while controlling the matter and using on the other team.

Teams were now being knocked out of bounds and two teams remained.

"WHY CAN'T I MOVE?!" Bakugo yells and they all look back at him. Bree quickly turns her head to find Vara. The heroes that knew about Vara's quirk were very shocked. She wasn't in sight neither was Izuku. "Woah your eyes are glowing," Izuku whispers to Vara. "Good that means it's working." Vara smirks and looks at Izuku. Denki and Momo had a chance for their breakthrough. Giving it their all. "Stay here." Vara says, signaling to Shoto that she was going to check something. He nods. "You need to use your fire side dickhead." Vara mumbles and disconnects from Bakugo, giving him full access to his body again. "Oopies, his legs are gonna be tired." Bakugo takes a minute to shake out his legs and tries to understand what just happened. The only reason Vara went to go see anything is to see if Bakugo was alright.

A few seconds left in the round.

"READY?!" Izuku yells, Vara quickly turns around, seeing Izuku and others in a formation the was wasn't supposed to happen. They were far back; Vara would have to run get them. Everyone one Shoto's team focus was now thrown off. Someone had time to swoop in and trying to grab the one million off of Izuku from behind. "3..." the clock was ticking, and she was close but was she close enough? "2..." Shoto's team tried as hard as they could to get back most of their points. "1..." the round was over. Everything went still, no noise from the crowd. There was dust due to Iida's distraction. Iida was on Bakugo's team. Momo muttered under her breath, "fuck..." she noticed a red band in Bree's hand. "CONGRATULATIONS BAKUGO's TEAM FOR GAINING THE ONE MILLION POINT BAND! WONDERFUL JOB BREE FOR SNATCHING IT AT THE LAST MINUTES!" Mr. Mic yells in excitement. Vara smiles at Bree, but Bree looks confused.

Once everyone was on their intermission Bree runs up to Vara. "Hey! You smiled at me back there...what was that for?" Vara was wrapping her hands back up. "Oh, I'm proud of you! Great job!" Vara smiles the exact same smile she did before. "Hey uhm Bree and Vara?" Denki says walking over to them. "What's up?" Both of the girls say in union. "Mr. Aizawa asked if you could dress in these cheerleader uniforms with the rest of the girls." Vara and Bree thought nothing of it and took the uniforms from Denki, then started walking to the girl's bathroom. "How are you going to change  your clothes in front of the other girls?" Bree asked fixing her braid. "I have bandages on I'll just think something up, no big deal." Vara says while taking off her unzipped jacket.

"Momo you look great!" Vara says looking her up and down. "I knew you liked women too!" Bree says, while slightly elbowing Vara, "shut up! I don't! Well actually I can't say if I do or don't... I don't like anyone." Vara explains the best way she could, but the girls were buying it. "Girly, are you asexual?" Mina asked, while all of their girls of 1-A stopped at the entrance. "I guess you could say that!" A lot of 'aw' and acceptance came from the girls, then they entered, and the crowd went wild. That's when everything clicked while Bakugo was throwing his jacket at Bree. "DENKI YOU SON OF A- we'll get you back!" Bree says, the rest of the girls were either flustered, embarrassed, yelling, laughing or all of the above. "LOOK AT VARA IT FITS HER FRAME PERFECTLY! WELL, IT FITS YOU ALL WELL!" Vara's eyes went wide slightly.

{Flash back}

"Bree this shirt is too tight, and the skirt is hugging me too much!" Vara complains while trying to pull the shirt down a bit more. "I know! Vara you're a curvy person. You have the body of Mirko and Midnight mixed together." Vara stared at Bree, while the other girls laughed. "Bree, I can't tell if you're being serious-" Mina breaks from her laughter, "she's being serious, we all see it. I mean she had the body of Midnight and Mount Lady mixed." Vara looked Bree up and down. "She's not wrong..." Bree laughs slightly, "yeah ok." Bree says handing Vara the orange hair ribbon that Denki asked Vara to wear.

{End of flash back}

"STOP LOOKING!" Vara yells and walks away. Denki laughs while watching Vara walk off. The other girls were plotting but Vara went back to her spot from last intermission. "Damn you look cute in a skirt. So, Jada and Toga were right. Oh, and I overheard the conversation that you and your friends had. It's nothing new, I'm surprised you didn't tell them already." Z says appearing out of nowhere. Vara rolls her eyes, "you flirt with me as a joke, and I flirt back." She says and watches him walk over. He chuckles softly, "but you enjoy this little game we play." He says looking Vara up and down to get ever an up-close view of her. "I never said I didn't dickhead. What are you staring at?" Vara asks him to try to follow his eyes. Z was very quiet; he was admiring her. The way the sun made her skin glow, the way her eyes were sharp, dangerous and mysterious, the way the bags and dark circles look good on her, he was admiring her. It wasn't even in a sexual way; he was just admiring her. "Z, why the hell are you staring at me?!" Vara snapped him out of his trance, "sorry. Just go and be safe. Don't hurt yourself." Z says while walking away. "Thanks for the ribbon sweetheart, you look great in orange, suits are frame." Vara groans slightly to herself, "NOT YOU TOO!" She yells but then Bree was there with Bakugo. "You good?" Bree asks, while looking at Vara. "Yeah, what are you love bugs up to?" She says walking over to them. "LOVE BUGS?! He was just walking me to the changing room!" Vara smirks, "mhm and since when do you need help going to the changing room? I call bullshit. See you two~! Remember you'd rather be 3 minutes early then 3 minutes late!" Vara walks away, leaving Bree and Bakugo behind and shocked. Bakugo with a slightly blush of embarrassment on his face.
