And as the big metal doors to the fake observatory opened, I was ready to see my longtime rival fall from his pedestal. The sun shone bright and the lazor fallowed its rays to where metroman stood. Could I really kill him? I mean this was always a fun thing we did, never expecting one to die but for metro man to always win. All I can do is sit here in anticipation as the laser hits.
Then
Dead silence
I felt my heart jump in my throat.... is he dead? Just as I got my hopes (crushed) up something in the sky headed towards me with a cape. "He's alive?!?!?"
Then as I flinched and shut my eyes waiting for the impact of a punch... it never came.
Instead I looked to my side and saw the skeleton of my king time rival. Am I happy? I'm not sure.. yet a smile spread across my face. At the time I didn't understand it but now I do.
