Stan and Leaf were some very good friends, even with Stanley being in Australia and Leaf in the States. They call every now and then, and they text almost every day, they gossip ab the people they dont like and they send weird pictures to eachother, as friends do. They bonded over both not having found their soul mate yet. When someone finds their soul mate a leaf will fall from the closest tree between the 2 people. Leafs 18th birthday is in 2 days and she was planning a trip to see her 27 year old friend in upside down town. She gathered 3 mutual friends to go with her to meet up with Stan to go partying. She grouped up with Perry, Slim, and Riri.
The plane they were taking left the day before Leafs birthday, so it was a time crunch. But they all just were excited to be together after years of only texting.

The 4 were currently landing after the worst flight everyone has ever encountered from the turbulent to the screaming kids to the yelling Karen's. But they were finally in aussie. Although they wouldn't be seeing Stan until the next day, exactly on leafs birthday for a day out and a night out. They were staying at a hotel they had to Uber to, yet it was close.

It was finally time for the group that called themselves "the biddies" to all meet together. They were meeting at a park to have a picnic, as they were walking up they all saw Stan sitting at a table. Everyone unanimously ran towards her at once, all excited to see their friend. Everyone hugged. Until it was Leafs turn to hug Stan. As they went in for a hug a leaf from the closest tree floated down between them. There was a reason they had never met their soulmate, until now. Leaf and Stan started crying hysterically asking questions to eachother such as "Its been you??" Or "how didnt we know?". They shared more hugs and for the rest of the day they were alot more clingy than they. Would be to eathother, even though its the first time they've met. Leaf And Stan went on to live together, Leaf finally left the states and lived with Stan in Australia. Leaf became a Nurse and Stan was her stay at home girlfriend, neither want kids bc fuck dem kids, and they fly out their friends every now and then.
Its been 3 years since they've been together and Leaf has been planning a massive surprise. In secret, Leaf has been saving money to get down everyone who matters and to buy a perfect item for her soul mate.
One night after Leaf took Stan to an amazing dinner, Leaf took her to a park. The same park they met, and found out they were fated to be together. Leaf brought her lady to the exact same table and sat her down.
"Stan i want you to know that these 3 years have been the best of my life. I have not regretted a moment I have been with you and I hope you feel the same, will you please be my wife?"
"...yes"
Everyone suddenly came out of hiding and congratulated the now fiancés. Leaf and Stan STILL did not adopt bc its STILL and will ALWAYS BE, fuck dem kids.
