Third Person
A little girl snuggles more into black silk comforter she was tucked in as she groans not wanting to wake up. She rolls over and huffs finally giving up and opening her eyes as she squints at the sudden bright light coming from the huge window.
She looks around and jumps up in a sitting position taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. She opened her mouth to scream thinking she got kidnapped when all the events of the day flash through her mind.
She leans on the headboard and closes her eyes as fresh tears escape her eyes. She brings her knees to her chest wrapping her little arms around her legs as she hides her face in her knees. She tries to hold in her sobs not wanting to be heard.
Memories with her father keep replaying in her mind making her slap her mouth shut with her hand muffling her sobs. She remember what her father said to her when he was taking her last breath. He wanted her to be strong. To be brave.
She took deep breaths as she wiped her tears away and closed her eyes and taking a deep breath as she opened her eyes once again.
Yeah her father wanted for her to be genuinely happy but how could she? Her father was the only person in her life if you don't count the maids and all people that worked for her father. He was her best friend. She never hid anything from him. She loved him so so so much. More than anything.
Of course she was not okay but she didn't want to be weak. But she didn't want to burden others with her feelings.
She was gonna fight that's for sure. Just like her father always taught her. "However hard something is you need to be brave. Yeah you might not be successful every time but at least you need to try your best baby. I don't care if you're successful, your effort will be more than enough. I'm so proud of you baby for trying and I always will be." She remembered her father telling her right after her first dance performance in her first competition where she was beating herself down for not winning first place.
She wiped all tears from her face and tried to force herself to smile but she couldn't. She sighed and looked up. "I'm gonna make you proud dada" She said jumping off the beds.
She finally took in her surrounding and immediately got nervous. She was in a beautiful full black room that was quite scary too. She didn't know who these people were? If they would hurt her?
She tried to stay calm as she run through all the long dark hallways trying to find a exit or someone who could help her. She sighed a relief when she reached a huge two way staircase leading downstairs. She went towards the stairs and looked down to see the man who brought her here and a really scary man sitting around the counter sipping on some kind of red drink she soon realized was wine.
She yawned again already tired again even though she woke up half an hour ago. She rubbed her eyes with her fist trying to get rid of sleepiness. She held onto the railing of the stairs as she went down the steps on by one as they were huge according to her.
Downstairs the boys heard the small pitter patter of her footsteps and turned to her as she walked down the stairs. She sure looked adorable as she one by one hopped down the stairs rubbing her eyes looking really sleepy and tired. Nobody could deny that.
Klint felt the urge to smile looking at her but immediately realized that and shook his head internally scolding himself as he put his walls up.
When Flora reached down they could see her tear stained face. Liam frowned at that, looking at her with pity. Klint felt a tug on his heart which he didn't know what it meant? He felt extremely confused with this unfamiliar feeling.
Flora on the other hand was extremely scared as she looked up at the two men. She was really scared and nervous. Many worst case scenarios were playing in her mind. She didn't know who they were or what their intentions were. Her hands were shaking slightly as her heart beat really really fast. You can't blame the poor girl. She lost the only person she fully trusts. Her rock. And now she is in a new place with scary looking strangers.
Both boys notice her shaking hands and uneasy expression. Liam smiled softly hoping to ease the girl nerves as he slowly crouched in front of her trying his best not to scare her more.
Klint was looking at his best friend in amusement. Liam is not a soft caring person in general so this is new. Of course he won't hurt people for no reason but this is so not him. Mostly he drinks throughout the day flirting with every women, joking and messing around not caring about anything.
"Hey little one I'm Liam. Liam Edward" He introduced himself while he held his hand out for a handshake. Flora placed her tiny hands in his causing him to internally coo at how tiny her hands is. His hands are giant compared to her.
"Flora Davies" She said slightly shaking his hand. Liam looked at his best friend sternly but Klint made no move. He glared at Klint and stood up and elbowed his best friend in the rib and looked towards flora wanting him to introduce himself. Klint glared at Liam then sighed and looked towards Flora who was looking at them amused.
"Klint Walker" He said in his cold voice. He expected her to flinch or cry but he was quite surprised when she nodded and tried smiling but that was quite unsuccessful. Klint felt the same tug at his heart making him frustrated cause he didn't knew what it meant.
Flora quite oddly felt a little on ease with Klint's cold voice. It was familiar to her so it was weirdly comforting for her. Her father used the same tone of voice during business meetings which she isn't supposed to hear. During the business meeting she is supposed to be outside of the house or in her room doing something and being distracted but she sneaks off from her nanny to the dining table cause she loves watching her father work. It's intriguing for her.
Tears formed in her eyes thinking of her father that she blinked back. The boys both noticed. Liam felt bad for the little girl and Klint again felt that tug in his heart making him more frustrated.
Flora shook her head slightly trying to get rid of her thoughts. 'Hmm Klint Walker. Why does that sound so familiar?' Flora thought to herself thinking of something else trying to distract herself.
Liam frowned when he saw dried blood on flora's knee. It looked like it got scraped on the road but it's quite deep. He doesn't know why but he feels quite protective of her.
He looked at his best friend and a smirk found it's way to his face. 'Time for my dear best friend to bond with the little one*Evil laughs*' He thought to himself.
He crouched down in front of flora and smiled at her. "We need to get that knee cleaned" Liam stated as he took his phone out of his pocket and pretended to check something and fake frowned.
"Oh I need to go. I'm so sorry. I'll be back in a hour" He said suppressing a smirk. "Klint will help you" He said smiling innocently as he put his phone back in his pocket and stood up. Klint glared at Liam. Liam just gave him a smirk and a wink and left.
Klint kept on glaring at his best friends retreating figure until he disappeared out of sight. He huffed under his breath and turned around to look at the little girl who was looking up at him with her big blue eyes that were filled with innocence giving him the sudden urge to smile again that he shook off.
He knew nothing about kids. He was clueless. He had no idea what to do as he just awkwardly stood there. Flora on the other hand was amused at how clueless he was. He was so confused she wanted to laugh.
'Here goes nothing' He thought to himself.
